Got my cds today. Read the booklet. She thanked the radio stations but not the fans? Or am I reading this the wrong way? I don't have received any of my physical copy yetđ€·. I'm shocked if it's real. How is it written? Nowhere, she talks about fans? Whoever sent this to print needs to get fired.

OMG I read it on this post. You are right. She did not mention her fans anywhere. And the radios?!? WTF! We put our heart and soul (and money and time) into her career for almost 20 years. Radios are business. Maybe the last sentence is for us, but it's so general. And what is written after Carey? Is it Dane? Dave? Dani?haha http://instagram.com/p/Bw2MyqyF3kO

Hustle - 6/10 Nice opening track with a fresh funky conutry vibe, the chorus is a bit too repetitive tho. Hey Why (Miss You Sometimes) - 9/10 Usually I'm against autotune, but she used it so tastefully in this one. Max Martin and Shellback are no doubt hitmaker legends, the beat is crazy catchy. Walk Me Home - 7/10 The light before the dark (trinity), it would be nice to be an album track, but definitely not a single material. My Attic - 8/10 The dark twin of Barbies. She sang it with a soft vocal which makes the song more vulnerable. 90 Days - 11/10 HOLY FUCKING SWEET JESUS! This is not just the album highlight but also her career highlight. Her vocal is perfectly matched with Wrabel's. And I just love the desperate mood of this song, it's like an upgraded version of Chaos & Piss. Hurts 2B Human - 9/10 This is a collaboration I didn't know I need. Collaborating with new artists was something I would never wanted from P!nk, but Khalid did a really great job here. Can We Pretend - 9/10 What About Us was the first song of hers to make you emotional with a dance beat. Then comes Can We Pretend which did the same job. It's the lyrics make this song so amazing. Courage - 6/10 I know it's written by Sia, and it really screams Sia the whole song. P!nk's vocal is on point, the production is solid. Happy - 9/10 It got the M!ss vibe in it, kinda like the sequel to Dear Dairy or Lonely Girl. It's a lyrically masterpiece. We Could Have It All - 5/10 New Wave is pretty new to her, but that's all I can say. Not really feeling this one. Love Me Anyway - 6/10 A diva kinda ballad. Not bad, but not good neither. It might be better if she did it solo imo. Circle Game - 10/10 Another lyrically masterpiece. If you are a die hard fan, you knew what she's been through, this song will make you feel connected to her. The Last Song of Your Life - 9/10 She and Billy Mann could do no wrong! This song is a conversation between her and the listener. After all the sadness she brought to you in this album, she offered you a salvation at the end. We have very similar reviews, tastes, yesss queen. You echoed my thoughts I didnât write down basically to a T (is that what they say? Lol)

I had this debate with Dani yesterday, she does thank the fans!
"The older I grow, the more my life is constantly full of gratitude for the insanity of it all, and of how many wonderfully talented people I get to rock with (NOT TO MENTION THE PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD THAT I GET TO SING TO + WITH). Is any of this real?"
She was probably touring at the time she wrote this and worded it differently than just a basic "thank you to the fans". I know some of you are upset, and I understand that, but she most definitely did thank the fans.

Also it's within the brackets. And since when are we people? Come on! I'm not blaming her, we've been here for 20 years. Anyone would take something for granted after so many years. So, she can write what the hell she wants. I just think the fans deserve a thank you line there with the rest. And I will say what I think. She or anyone can hate me for it I don't give a crap. It's what I'm thinking.

Also the chat in our group on Facebook, there are more people understanding it this way. You're seriously the first one to defend this. But whatever. I'm over it. Moving on.

"she expressed her gratitude to the committee for their support" synonyms: gratefulness, thankfulness, thanks, appreciation, recognition, acknowledgement, hat tip, credit, regard, respect; She worded it weirdly perhaps, but I really don't think she purposely wanted anyone to feel left out. Hear her voice while reading it out and it will make sense I guess.

So, here are my thoughts on the new album. I know you guys have been waiting for my review impatiently!!!!!!1111!1!1eleven1!!
Some of you will probably hate me (more than usually), love me or, more than likely, be very indifferent about me. Anyhooo, here's what I think:
Hustle It's an all right intro, but way too repetitive in my eyes. I feel, there is something missing; an instrumental break-down and build-up, adlibs over the last choruses, more horns, ... Idk what, but it always feels unfinished to me in a way. I still love it, but I think if this song had been released during Try This times it would have been miiiiiiles better! Trouble has the word trouble a million times in it, too, but you never feel bored. Maybe it's cause it's more musically organic? Anyway, love her voice on this a lot and you can hear how she's had fun with singing this! 7/10
(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime Instant love for this one! Who would have thought Max Martin would end up tickling out different styles from her? I love the California Love-esque auto-tune mixed with an acoustic/folky/whatever chorus. I love when she mixes genres and here it works damn perfectly IMO it's like her and Linda being all spontaneous and trying to figure out protools or whatever lol 10/10
Walk Me Home This one may suffer from U+Ur Hand-itis, what with the sort of disjointed chorus, but I love the comfy feeling this gives me overall. As a first single it might not work perfectly, but she always wanted to release a 2nd single type of song as 1st single. Anyway, I like it a lot. It grew on me and I feel like it fits nicely into the album. Won't want to miss it. Also, love the electronic deep voices and her mmmhs 8/10
My Attic Hm... now this will get me a bit of hate, I guess. This song is cute and all, but I feel like it should have stayed a Julia Michaels song and she could have had P!nk to just be a feature on it. As a P!nk song, I feel indifferently about it. In a way, it's incredibly forgettable to me. I am always like "Oh, right, this one exists too" and then the Aaah voice in the line "I'm guarded" always gives me a start. Anyway, it's good, but far from her best and I feel like she could have easily found another song in her repertoire that fits the kind of M!ss vibe of this album much better. Or just update an old Linda/Damon song (or the Eg White or Brandi Carlisle songs we haven't heard yet!!). Let's wait, maybe it'll grow on me... But as of now, it might be my least favorite on H2BH (it's still cute tho)... Veeeery generous 7/10
90 Days I think people already know how I feel about this song... I fucking love it! Their voices go so well together. I already loved Wrabel's original, but this one has P!nk's amazing vocals on it. She sounds terrific throughout. I was hoping they'd keep it simple and am glad they did. I was thinking of a "I Don't Want Love" by the Antlers kind of arrangement for this, and was pleasantly surprised and, well, amazed with the musical direction they took! Emotional, dark, fantastic song! I have a video idea for it, but I am kind of sure this era won't reach a 3rd single. Bummer. 10/10
Hurts 2B Human Love this. Like with Wrabel, her and Khalid's voices just fit like a glove! And man, I don't know what it is, but this song reminds me of some other song from the late 90s/early 2000s! Maybe it's the protool drum progression in the chorus that is similar? Idk, but this song really hits and makes one sad and happy and hopeful and goosebumpy all at the same time lol 10/10
Can We Pretend Dated, schmated... I love this song! Love the lyrics and its harks-back-to-ability. It's a genre she's never done before and I am glad to find that it works. It makes my heart happy and melancholic at the same time. Just a dancey party song with a nostalgic and a sad flair that I always wanted from her. 9/10
Courage I got around to enjoying this song more. On first listens, the only thing that really kept me listening to it was the choral near the end. Man, that choral really is a highlight! It's incredible! After a while, I appreciated her use of imagery in the lyrics more and more and it turned out: the song's not as bad as I initially thought it was. Yeah, sure, it's Sia all over, but I am sooo glad it doesn't have her standard scream-a-thon choruses here that I was worried about. I would have done things differently though; I would have probably built the song around that beautiful choral. Also, some think it's great, I think the belts in the end are hilarious! Lol, they always remind me of Satan belting it out at the end of "Up There" from the South Park Movie LOOOL 7/10
Happy It's like a song that would have fit perfectly around Dear Diary, and since M!ss is my favorite P!nk album and this song feels like right out of it, I highly enjoy it! It's breezy, but still so damn painful and real and raw and honest. Who doesn't feel like they're self-sabotaging themselves constantly? It's incredibly relateable and her voice is warm yummy honey to my ears. Beautiful. 10/10
We Could Have It All Great, great verses and pre-chorus... crappy Kelly Clarkson-ish chorus. This song gives me 80s nostalgia, it would fit sooo perfectly into a movie from those times (or the throwback style films of today), really gives me a warm and cosy feeling... until the chorus hits. The TTAL-Greg-whiny-high-voice vocals are not for me and the overuse of hi-hats just disconnects it from the nice nostalgic feel. Where was Beck? Did Greg lock him out of the studio when they recorded the chorus? But man, does this song create a great feeling. So, I guess I can overlook the very uninteresting parts... Will probably jump like an idiot to this live anyway, so it's all good. 8/10
Love Me Anyway What a romantic and sweet song! Her voice here SHINES and it's like listening to some of the greats of yesteryear. Love the country, love how she stays sweet and love how Chris' gruffness mixes perfectly with the entire vibe of the song. It gives me a warm late night summer feeling on the open field surrounded by stars. 10/10
Circle Game This one took a bit, but it immensely grew on me. It harks back to M!ss times and her voice is just incredibly clear and strong throughout. Some lyrics and her delivery really shot tears in my eyes. Fantastic song and I love how the strings are introduced slowly throughout. 10/10
The Last Song Of Your Life Obligatory acoustic song, and I love it! It reminds me of a mix between songs from the 60s and alternative/grunge slow songs from the 90s A LOT! Something that would have been on a Buffy soundtrack. It's ethereal and stunning. Her voice is incredible and the lyrics gorgeous. Great closer to a strong album. 10/10
Overall: It's probably not my favorite P!nk album as there were still things that I would have done differently, but it's still fantastic and an incredibly strong effort from her. I was hoping she'd go a step further after BT and she totally did. I love the partial musical theme of electronics throughout and her voice really shines here in all its many beautiful facets. I am glad she experimented a bit with different styles and genres, and yet stayed true to herself and let her voice soar. Just proof that she feels comfortable in any genre, really. It reminded me a lot of M!ssundaztood and how she incorporated different genres and styles into an entire body of work as well. I don't know where this would fit into my album ranking, but I'm sure it'll end up being very high.
Don't know when we can expect another record, but I hope she goes even further!
Edit:
More Yeah... no. It's okay, I guess. She could have sold this to Kelly Clarkson along with Broken & Beautiful and I wouldn't have cared. It really sounds like something on Breakaway anyway. Not really feeling this and I'm not missing it on H2BH tbh. Maybe it'll grow on me over time, but eh. Not sad it's not on the standard version. Her voice is great on it though. 6/10

Did Greg lock him out of the studio when they recorded the chorus? But man, does this song create a great feeling. So, I guess I can overlook the very uninteresting parts... Will probably jump like an idiot to this live anyway, so it's all good. 8/10Love Me AnywayWhat a romantic and sweet song! Her voice here SHINES and it's like listening to some of the greats of yesteryear. Love the country, love how she stays sweet and love how Chris' gruffness mixes perfectly with the entire vibe of the song. It gives me a warm late night summer feeling on the open field surrounded by stars. 10/10Circle GameThis one took a bit, but it immensely grew on me. It harks back to M!ss times and her voice is just incredibly clear and strong throughout. Some lyrics and her delivery really shot tears in my eyes. Fantastic song and I love how the strings are introduced slowly throughout. 10/10The Last Song Of Your LifeObligatory acoustic song, and I love it! It reminds me of a mix between songs from the 60s and alternative/grunge slow songs from the 90s A LOT! Something that would have been on a Buffy soundtrack. It's ethereal and stunning. Her voice is incredible and the lyrics gorgeous. Great closer to a strong album. 10/10Overall: It's probably not my favorite P!nk album as there were still things that I would have done differently, but it's still fantastic and an incredibly strong effort from her. I could write exactly the same review than you! Hehe
