Hurts 2B Human Personal Review Thread

A an (extremely) brief background:

I’m Not Dead is my favorite P!nk album followed very closely by Beautiful Trauma.

Thoughts:

1. “Hustle”2 I really like this and always will. A very in-your-face opening track. 9/10
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometimes”: WHEW. This is so fresh and all the elements mix well, it’s like a The Truth About Love track re-blended. One of my favorites.10/10
3. “Walk Me Home”: I really enjoy this song, but it may be one of the weaker ones on the album. I listened to on CD when reading the booklet lyrics for the first time and the chorus sounded very slightly distorted on the CD version. 7.5/10
4. “My Attic”: This is nice but I wish it did a little more. Like it kinda never gets to where it should be despite the strong lyrics. 7.5/10
5. “90 Days” feat. Wrable: JESUS!!! The emotion, I literally cried. The slight electronic distortion (I don’t know if it’s vocoder) works so damn well it’s unbelievable. Perfect track!!! 10/10
6. “Hurts 2B Human” feat. Khalid: Another one of my favorites, so damn good and maybe her best title track yet. I only heard it once before today and that was when Spotify first posted it. 9/10
7. “Can We Pretend” feat. Cash Cash: Man, it’s a shame this has the basic and outdated beat break. Besides that, a fantastic track. 6/10
8. “Courage”: After the second chorus when the mini-choir comes in, it turns into “I Am Here” 2.0 and I am LIVING. Not nearly as bad as some people are saying, but I wish the distorted verse 1 wasn’t in the second half of the chorus. 8/10
9. “Happy”: FFUUCCKKKK!!! The feels and the vibe and, and, and... I need a medley of this and “Better Life” ASAP!!! 10/10
10. “We Could Have It All”: I really, really like this but the production feels a little armature in the chorus, it needs to be kicked up one extra notch. 7.5/10
11. “Love Me Anyway” feat. Chris Stapleton: My least favorite of the collaborations, though it’s not bad by any means. I feel it’s a little
anti-climatic despite the last minute and the lyrics aren’t amazing. 7/10
12. “Circle Game”: This.... THIS!!!! I love when she gets so person and raw and the last “circle game” killed me. Turn a knife in my gut, Miss Moore. 10/10
13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: Damn, I feel this on a personal level. Not only do I feel like she’s speaking to me, I feel she feels the same about people as me. 10/10

What Hurts 2B Human ultimately taught me is this may be my ALL TIME favorite P!nk album. Yes, I’m Not Dead means the world to me because it got me through so much, by this is everything I wanted and she exceeded it ten fold. Very few artists over the history of music have a discography as consistent as P!nk.

I cannot believe My attic. It's perfect in ALL possible ways. The cute guitarr with her voice at the beginning, drum beat building it up, the short line changes, the lyrics. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.
