(Hey Why) Miss You Sometimes Electo sounding, very auto tuned it's legit all auto tuned sound effect until the chorus. Nothing like Pink has done before. Doesn't even sound like her. The closest thing I can compare it too is a blend of Fingers and Centrefold. The bridge slows the song down. I think it'll take me some listens to get used to this. My AtticSoft and delicate sounding. It's like Barbies bigger better sister. I enjoy the build up of this song and the introduction of the different instruments. Absolutely love this one, it fits Pinks voice. I see what Max said about not having a chorus it just flows throughout the whole song. 90 Days I think this will be a personal favourite of most on here. Very dramatic and simple with great vocals but with a twist of a manipulated voice underlay. Just a simple piano in the background. Wrable sounds great with her voice. I can definitely hear the Imogen Heap comparison to it. A pink song to compare it to would be Choas and Piss. CourageIs this the Sia one? It sounds like a Sia song. Slow verses with big blast off chorus which I love. I can imagine my self singing this top of my lungs. It's repetive to start but then has a underlay of a chorus over the top of the repetitive words. Has a lot of Oooohs HappyStarts off with some MMMM sounds delicious. Very Riffy guitary. It's the mean of the album just more poppy/rocky. More Mmm's throughout which make it sound great. Her voice sounds so deep and amazing. We Could Have it All The one I was looking forward too the most. Reminds me of Truth about love. OMG THE CHORUS. It's explodes but Pink sounds so different? Definitely a chilled summer jam. OMG the chorus us back again. It really doesn't sound like Pink though. It sound like early Sia songs before chandelier. Love Me AnywayStarts off with a Pink type lyrics about scars. It's giving my nostalgic feelings. Another simple piano power Ballard. She sings Can Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Could have done with our the guys voice. It's like it's trying to be misery but not quite connecting with the level of amazingness. Thankfully he's more like backup singing that part of it. Circle Game.Sounds dark. She used the same lyric as one of her other songs off the album about monsters under her bed. She sings about Willow. It's definitely like she's telling a story she almost speaks one part which actually sounds great and she should do more of. The chorus is high pitched and big. The 2nd chorus has introduced a new instrument which I love. Think this is my favourite Ballard on the album. She sounds really pretty? I feel like it starts off dark but becomes light towards the end. The Last Song Of Your Life.
I was right and it's her singing about retirement on loop. I kid. It sounds like she's far away or in an echo room. It's a very soft song. Oh she's just kicked off big style with some high vocals that was unexpected. I like it. I know people think that this could be a rushed album after beautiful trauma but I feel this was the album she wanted to make. Every song is so different to what Pink is normally like. The only problem I have with the album IS FUCKING WALK ME HOME. I'd happily replace that song with something like I am here which would totally fit on this album. I think yall will be happy with it. Ask me anything you want I'm here all day.

What I love about Hey Why is that it reminds me a bit of Tupac‘s California Love (probably the autotune and the “love“ in her lyrics). She‘s a fan of the song so I am sure she maybe wanted to pay it homage. And then the chorus which is like acoustic/folky/country-ish/90s-folktronic-alternative haha like the total different end of the spectrum!
Idek but I love the mix and that it‘s different and yet her. Can‘t wait to listen to the rest!

I don't know where to begin, but I love 7 songs, like 3 and dislike 3.
Absolute highlights are Hey Why, My Attic, 90 Days, Happy, We Could Have It All and Last Song of Your Life.
The biggest letdown for me is Courage. I'm shocked at the lyrical choices. The chorus is really jarring to listen to, "courage to change" is such a tongue twister and it sounds awkward as hell. The song is structured in a way that it's almost a carbon copy of Chandelier too, which I dislike. "rain it falls rain it falls" - "123, 123, drink, 123 123 drink".

Alot of people have been saying the exact same thing! Sia needs to go away for a while. Although the LSD album is amazing.

We've been told that Celine will release her brand new english album in November and there's a new song still called Courage, and it's also being used for her new tour's name, I doubt that whether it's the same song or just both have the same title. You know celine always covers others' songs on her every new albums. Let's wait and see.

Oh, man... I just listened to this... I‘ll have to collect my thoughts and come back after work when I can write without going 1) this song: ASKLDFASPIODF“=R=OWRW=ERW FPPWF JWE WOF WE RR=§?R §=§=§ But for now, my favorites from the songs we didn’t hear before are deffo 90 Days, Last Song of Your Life (it‘s so evident she can conjure the 60s easily. Sometimes I feel she was born in the wrong era), Hey Why, Happy and Love Me Anyway — I know, people aren‘t really into it, but I‘m a romantic fuck and love country... wished they would have flipped around once and she had done the rougher parts for a little section. Still great. We Could Have It All is nice too. Such a good vibe. I totally get what people meant by it being reminiscent of the 80s. I just feel they could have pimped it up a bit so it doesn‘t get too repetitive. At least that was my impression. Still a good song! Courage... man... that song she could have easily left out. It‘s sooo boring and just too Sia to be enjoyable. A facelift would have done it good (and maybe a minute shorter). The choral near the end was so promising. Should have happened sooner and they could have built around that to make it interesting. Anyway, first impression of the album: I am kinda impressed. She tried out new things and the lyrics are introverted and fantastic. Really a bag of surprises and just a nice mix overall. I was hoping she would go a step further after BT, and she totally did. Love it! EDIT: thank you meesterpaull

It feels so good to hear her voice in all of these songs. Such comfort I'm sure you all understand I'm a tricky person. Or well my mood is. Some days all I want is happy pop songs like Hustle, Can we pretend, Hey why, Walk me home and what not. Other days, or well most days, like today, I wanna feel things and cry my eyes out. So the tops scores went to the slower songs. It's a nice mix of songs on this album without being an awkward mix. I enjoy that. My attic and Love me anyway scored highest for me atm. I might have got a little teary and snotty. Besides them I'd rate We could have it all and Happy almost as high (Julia all over it btw). Hurts 2B Human is there too. Khalid's and her voice go so nice together and it's nice to have his voice in the middle of the album, freshing it up a little. Anyway, this "review" is focused on the new songs obviously so I'll stick to that (ps. I'm obsessed with Can we pretend so...). Circle game is nice but there's something with the repetitive chorus that doesn't make me wanna give it full score. Maybe after listening to the songs before it that had repetitive choruses too? Hey Why is alright, nothing wow to me as some of you. Some parts of Hey why reminds me a little of Rihannas Disturbia for some reason. It could work as the next single. But I'd rather see Hurts 2B Human , Can we pretend or Happy be that. I wish 90 days was without that robotic voice stuff. It's too loud in my head for me to enjoy it as I would if it was without. The lyrics are amazing. I had a hard time with the chorus in Courage, like some of you already mentioned. I'm sure it'll grow on me. The only song I still have no opinion on is The last song of your life. I love the chill mood in her voice. I love the guitar. I like the questions she's asking. It does remind of me of some of her older songs or songs she's performed live, maybe Time after time or that I'm thinking of See You Again with Wiz Khalifa? I can't put my finger on it. AAAND, can you guys hear some Disney movie soundtracks influencing the album a little? ...

(Hey Why) Miss You Sometimes - 10/9 F*** the production is lit. It sounds like a theme song playing in the ending credits for a cool, 90's computer game. It doesn't sound like a P!nk song at all that's why I love it so much. It has this laid-back, swingy vibe, and the bridge is SO DAMN GOOD. I can't stop JAMMING to it. After all the missteps Max Martin finally delivered a song which should be a single. I can picture a retro, Nintendo style music video to it. Urgh.
My Attic - 10/9 I got teary eyed. The lyrics hit me hard, mabye that's why. Thank God for Julia, although Barbies wasn't really for me, this one hit a soft spot. It's pretty much about my attic, hidden really deep that I barely give keys to. Also, her vocal runs in the end is stunning.
90 Days - 10/10000000000000 Bon Iver meets M83 meets P!nk. I could have never imagined this happening but this might be her BEST SONG SINCE...FOREVER. The lyrics, the music, the computer voice, the tuned back piano. It's ambient, it's post-rock, it's indie. Her voice after the second chorus during "slowlyyyy". Fuck. This is a type of a music I adore but I could have never pictured her doing it, and she's doing it so well. I'm schocked pretty much. Might be my favorite song of hers, all time. F***. It's deep, it's dark, it's hurtful yet it's healing, it's death with a beam of hope.
- at this point I'm getting more and more mad at the music business and her team. This song should have been released before the album. I hate seeing her doing songs like this good and don't reach people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Courage - 10/5 I WISH this one wouldn't be like any other Sia song. I actually enjoyed it but with a non-really-Sia chorus it could have been much better. I really like the production, sounds really clear and fresh. The piano and the dramatic drum sounds pretty neat. But once again really Sia. They could have gone to a producer who could mix it differently, such good material but needs more originality. Most skippable track on the record but I'll keep checking back for some mindless loud shower singing sessions, going crazy in the last chorus!
Happy - 10/10 I would place somewhere around M!ss and TT. It sounds really old school, something I would imagine Linda and her writing together. It definitely feels like Don't Let Me Get Me's adult version, better and deeper. The lyrics are pretty amazing, especially that they're really heartwrenching in a way, and it's so sad to see her struggling with herself like this. The whole album is really depressing but this one stands out for the most for me - maybe because we've been with her since ages and she's still hurting herself this much.
We Could Have it All - 10/8 Beautiful production! You can tell this was written around TTAL, something that would fit on the bonus tracks version, between Chaos&Piss and Timebomb. I really dig the 80s vibe production, with a little guitar in the background which gives such an ambient, nostalgic vibe to it. "Everybody thought we would be the ones" melody in the pre-chorus is pretty great. I don't like that they tuned her voice back in the chorus, but her singing "we could have it all, we could have it all" in the background gives such a nice, retro feeling to the whole thing.
Love Me Anyway - 10/4 Nice country song. That's it. Good for weddings.
Circle Game - 10/6 The Great Escape dark twin. I love the chello playing in the verse. I thought - since it's about her being a mother - I wouldn't really care, but the lyrics are more universal - "Count your lucky stars that you've got the chance to play in the circle game" line actually reminds me of I Am Here. I adore that it's about life in general and how grateful we have to be. I feel like if I Am Here could be on this record (rightfully), this one could be one of her best records.
The Last Song Of Your Life - 10/8 Crystal Ball reworked by The Beatles. Absolutely stunning lyrics, vocals, vibe, guitar. Billy never disappoints. Once again, general thoughts about life - something I wished she would have sung about because she has not really touched this topic since I'm Not Dead. But I feel like the last 3 songs are a mini rose ave. on this album, maybe that's why I like them. But this song could have worked much better with different, more uptempo songs before it.
Overall I'm shockingly surprised. The whole album sounds fresh with amazing productions. It touches so many music genres, might be her most diverse album so far. The whole vibe is nostalgic, dark and bittersweet - right in my alley. It's more about life, her feelings than love like TTAL or BT - and finally it's a nice breath of fresh air after all these years.
This could be M!ssundaztood's, I'm Not Dead's and rose ave.'s lovechild which make me love it really much and I'm sure it will be loved by a lot from here too!
