not all music is for everyone. peoples can argue about her career all they want. I like its, and I'm enjoying it. and I'm happy and shes happy. and if somebody else is happy listening to Ariana Grande, or Black Sabbath, or Kendrick Lamar, - I'm happy for them. Its amazing that we all have so much to choose from, and I'm happy with my choice of Pink doesnt have to be ‘or’ but ‘all’. The person just compared their careers and not that they can’t like both. Ps - damn, I’d be depressed, if I were releasing the same formula over and over, but if that makes her happy, then ok.

Also, I don't think P!nk is that "compromised" as some of you are saying.
What About Us was a brave af single choice, it is political (remember when her label denied her to use Dear Mr. President as a U.S. single?), and the electronic dance vibe was so NOT her thing. Actually, the entire BT album was so NOT her thing, she stepped out of her comfort zone, left the Pop Rock music, and still, some of you are saying she is being "safe".
I'm not saying BT is a fantastic album that everyone should love it (I personally love it to death), but BT, musically was definitely not a safe move from her.

I completely forgot to mention that in my post. WAU was a step out but then went back to safe with Beautiful Trauma the single and WYW. Secrets was different but no promotion. Not even WYW got any. They gave up on a beautiful album. Then released Walk Me Home. Disappointing. I love the album. That’s why I was so excited and expected more from it. Her family life and wine changed that. I’m not mad, I get it. But bummed the stellar album got moved to the side when I would have been promoting those songs all over the place. For Now, Secrets, I Am Here, Where We Go all deserved their own moment. Heck, all the songs.

I agree. FGS. Listen, its bloody ONE song lol. I like it......do I think its her best song shes ever done? No! Just because you may not like her new single, it doesn't mean that's it! you need to hand over your p!nk fan badge. I am a massive Britney fan but wasn't too keen on her Britney Jean album. im still a massive Britney fan and I loved her last album Glory. I think some people feel, and ill admit I used to feel like this too, that in order to be a fan of someone you need to absolutely love every single thing they release. If pink released an album of fart noises, are we as fans meant to sit on here saying aw that's amazing ! Best album ever ! No! does that make us not pink fans NO! I mean ill admit and I think ive admitted this on here before, I was never a great fan of What About Us? was disappointed when I first heard it, it grew on me since but I still think its just an OK song that's so overrated. I was worried about her BT album. I absolutely loved BT and WAU is one song off the album I always skip. im still a massive pink fan and im going to see her for the 5th time in June So its OK to not like a song and still be a fan. I highly doubt as well that more then like 20% of the album is gunna sound like WMH

They will all show different sides of her. Where We Go, on the other hand, I'm not so sure, the song itself is great, but it sounded too familiar with so many songs, especially the chorus part, it will probably draw an unwanted attention.

Maybe it really is our "Time to let go" of hoping a proper promotion period for singles. lol Walk Me Home is the first lead single that I didn't like of hers, but I still have faith in album tracks, she always serves extremely high quality album tracks so that we can bitch about why tf she doesn't choose them as singles. hahahahahah

I’ll personally would let her “fail” 10000000000000000 times before I’d even think about letting go. That doesn’t mean I love everything she does. But there’s no right or wrong here, we’re all different. And that’s OK 🤷🏽♀️

Oh, btw, I just suddenly want to talk about that Revenge MV.
It will definitely be a flop imo. I mean... A music video about killing so many Eminem(s)... WITHOUT THE ACTUAL Eminem in it? What a mess. I'm glad they didn't release it.
Just like Nicki, she got no time to film I Don't Give A... and Bitch, I'm Madonna MVs with Madonna, but still, she kinda "showed up". lol

I was like that with Avril Lavigne, used to be a massive fan and loved her first 3 albums, bought her 4th album and wasn't a fan of it, gave album 5 a chance and listen to it and didn't liked it either so that's when I let go of Avril. But to hear ONE song, not like it and think that's it not a fan anymore is a bit daft lol

For me, what about us is her best single in ten years and one of her best all together but I must have listened to you get my love in full about 3 times and for me the album ends at wild hearts.

But I’m also veeeeryvery very schizophrenic when it comes to music. I listen to ALL kinds of sounds and I’m very open to most of it. But I’m not really interested in the “artists” like I am with her. So whatever she brings me I’ll give it a chance as long as it comes from HER HEART AND MIND, her truth, her honesty, her views and her opinions. Me? Fitting me and my problems? Relating? No, I don’t care about that anymore even if she nails it every time. She’s saved and made me already. I’m here for the REAL stuff. I will always want to listen to what she has to say. Even if it’s ALL about Carey. Or sugar. About whatever’s in her mind. But I won’t love it all. For sure. I’m always open with what I think. And not afraid to say it. Luckily there hasn’t been much I haven’t liked. Some things more, some things less. I guess we have to make a difference about who she is, what she’s done, what she stands for and what she’s like and what she makes and what she gives us, with what label wants her to choose as singles. Cause, seriously, it’s a huge difference.

Cause, seriously, it’s a huge difference. I was going to say something similar, but you’ve nailed it. Even to the point of her being one of the only artists you truly love and care for when you have an eclectic music taste. I’m the same. As long as she remains the beautiful person that she is, keeps her integrity and honesty then I really don’t care if there’s a song or even an album that doesn’t really do it for me. It’s like supporting a family member. She’ll always have my love. I always want her to succeed. That’ll never change. Marketing strategy is a different story. She has certain obligations that she has to fulfill within her label. The full picture is usually very different.

I don't think i'd ever fully let go but like Avril i'd maybe stop buying her albums and listen less NB I just notice I missed a few words out in that quoted post lol. meant to say 'if she released 2 or 3 albums back to back that I didn't like then i'd let go'. coz obviously if she released 2 or 3 albums back to back that I loved I wouldn't think aw FU pink im not being your fan now, i'd think this is the best day ever lol

I had only heard a few of her songs and some covers as that is all that was available, but I adored her from the off. She seemed like a lovely person and again, seemed genuine, honest and wrote/sang from the heart. Basically all of the attributes that attract me to a musician. I saw her 15 times in one year and met her and photographed her on quite a few occasions. She released an album and I was obsessed. It was so good. Then she released a deluxe edition which was also excellent and did some great stuff in between. A while later she completely changed. Changed her personality, attitude, music, style, got plastic surgery etc. and pretty much everything I liked about her. She was involved in a lot of drama that put me right off. I couldn't believe it, and naturally lost interest immediately when I saw she prioritised money over integrity. I hope she is happy with her choices, but it wasn't for me anymore. So, that is pretty much the only thing that would ever make me ”let go” of P!nk And after 20 years, I think we’re good. 👌
