It's not about letting go, it's understanding the change. People like Madonna, Celine, Cher all have success, it's just different and I think Pink is about to enter that phase of her career. Of course she will release albums it just won't feel the same to us as it once did. As I said in the other thread she's passed her relevant stage, she's no Ariana, Cardi B etc she will never gain that kind of buzz anymore but she will still sell the same amount of albums as them as we just have to come to terms that she not gonna be all over. Ariana and Cardi I don't think they will have that kind of success at P!nk age now. Instead of stay P!nk can't sell which isn't true. BT is here best in sells to date. They won't have the career like pink has now in ten to fifteen years.

Best sales, cause they attached them to tickets. She would have had a #1 debut, but with a lot less numbers without those ticket bundles. Yes, people had to click the link and request the CD, but still, people didn’t buy the album cause they knew a CD was coming with a ticket.

This thread makes me a little bit sad. Time flies and we are getting older and older

I think it's time for me to move on. I have enjoyed being apart of the fam for so long but the new single isn't for me. I still love her but I think I'll just be rooting from the side lines. I will listen to the album when it drops but I think my time with our girl is done. Godspeed to her. Love you all and thanks for the memories.

You’re welcome back if you change your mind

How many times can we get the same stuff!? She’s a mom now and I feel like all her choices since have been safe and role model-esque for her kids, which I get but so difficult for us fans who’ve been following since day one and know what she’s capable of. This new single is utterly disappointing. I haven’t even bought it and have no intention to. I refuse to support safe. I love her and WANT to support her but not that single. I didn’t buy Waterfall either. I’ll buy the album though if it’s good. I’m not going anywhere though, even though I’m bothered. I’m just too connected and in love.

I really thought BT is the last big pop album of hers. Doing wine and stuff after that. But I was wrong, they wanna do another round and judging by the first single they still pushing her to the same formula as so far. I get it, she is a goldmine for RCA, obviously they won't let her go indie.
To be completely honest I grew apart from her music. I need more depth. But I still follow her, maybe by routine? I don't know. I think - as pink gurl said - I will be looking from the side, hoping for her and me is gonna be on the same page again. If not, that's good as well, we had a wonderful time together.

She's been in the game like forever but still, can she even sing live properly? No. She's a great entertainer, that's all. Ray of Light and Music were her last golden eras, confessions was ok, but since then, she tried so hard (or maybe too hard) to stay relevant. I mean from Britney to Miley to LAMFO to Psy to Nicki, she grabs everything what she thinks is "trending" to make noise. And what was her last inspiring song? huh? Bitch, I'm Madonna? No thanks.

Personally, I love how she is now, maybe more than ever. And I'm a fan from the beginning too. She has evolved, like all of us (I hope). She changed, her voice changed, her body changed, her vision of life changed, she doesn't fight for the same things anymore... A lot of you say that now, she is a mom. What's wrong with that? Being a mother is a beautiful thing (for me, it's the most beautiful thing). She wants to be a good model for her kids. I will never blame her for that. Call me a "soccer mom", but I don't think that she is boring at all. I don't love everything she does. But nothing tops her talent. Her music express who she is now. I think she is more beautiful, sexier, more accomplished, and probably happier. For me, it's enough to continue to follow her journey.

I agree about Madonna. P!nk agrees about Madonna.
I also agree about her music, once Celebration came out, I slowly lost interest. Cause her voice and singing changed and it didn’t go back. Same with Shania and other artists. She’s getting older now, her voice isn’t the same, and she doesn’t perform the same way. But that’s to be expected when you’re approaching 60. No one can touch Madonna’s legacy though. P!nk does her own thing. But I will say I started losing a little interest when she kept up with the same formula. Or the same type of airiel performances. She always said she doesn’t like repeating herself, but she has, just with a different bow on it, so to speak. After so long, you can’t go back. She’s putting herself in a box and it saddens me.
I love that P!nk has gotten softer, but she also has an edge, and I’d hate if she lost that completely in her music. I’m ok with change, if it’s for the better. She doesn’t have to get boring with her music to be a role model.

not all music is for everyone. peoples can argue about her career all they want. I like its, and I'm enjoying it. and I'm happy and shes happy. and if somebody else is happy listening to Ariana Grande, or Black Sabbath, or Kendrick Lamar, - I'm happy for them. Its amazing that we all have so much to choose from, and I'm happy with my choice of Pink

She did pave the way for so many things, I agree. However, she stopped being inspiring for a very long time. People still see her as a legend, she is a legend for what she did for the first, I don't know 20 years of her career? But what she did lately, or not just lately but the latest 10 years were just desperately trying to stay relevant. I would say her next target will be Cardi B,but then I remember she already did a song with her. lol and for the singing part, ffs, as a music lover, demanding a singer that could actually SING is not a harsh thing right?
