im pretty sure that its not just about that one new song that quite a few are disappointed in her in a way. it bottled up through the years by things which were already mentioned here. personally i dont think that its a bad thing to change and especially being a real mom and all about your family is one of the greatest things. but you still can grow and being recognizable as the "core you". and to me she just grew in another way which makes me miss this special thing in her i always admired.
its just my opinion and if shes happy then great. but actually i think she wouldlnt like such a change either if it happened to one of her idols.

Yeah, I always got shit for saying this but she can do sooo much better. We know it, we saw/heard glimpses of it. Having a family and being happy is great, but it's not really a reason or an excuse to run in circles musically. Or is it? Idk, I'm not a mom who was an acrobat for 8 years and then became a pop star.

I think this "unhappiness" (lol) started for me with I'm Not Dead--but be the bad guy who questions most P!nk fans' favorite album 😂😂😂 Many of the criticism for Walk Me Home is the same criticism I had with many of her IND songs. I guess in a way I am just over it now, and even though there's disappointment here and there, I still look for the gems and try to enjoy her work as much as possible. I mean, it's not bad work; except for maybe one or two songs lol I just wish she maybe listened to her dreams more. With IND her ideas were incredible and her dream ("I remember I had a dream that I got shot in the head and I was stuffing newspaper into the back of my skull") could have made for a much better album IMO. It's still good but I would have liked a more fitting gruesome theme (loved that scary first album cover idea that made the rounds back in the day) mixed with social criticism and a less Clarkson/Lavigne sound (which also was the criticism over here in Germany). But that's in the past and just wishful thinking lol But yes. TL;DR VERSION: She can do a hell of a lot better 👍

I didn’t realize there were so many unhappy thoughts with a lot of her music etc. I wish BT would have been promoted the proper way. I think her team dropped the ball on that. After seeing the private concert before the CDs release I thought wow this CD is amazing and is going to go far. I hope they use this as a platform but they really didn’t. Pretty disappointing. I’m not a huge fan of revenge or even walk me home but I think they’re good and I’ll support her no matter what she sings. Hoping for Rose Ave #2 soon. I’m not sure how someone who has been following her all these years can just give up and say it’s time to let go? Me I could never do that. I respect all that’s she’s done through the years and have accepted all the change as well. I may not love every single thing she says or does but I will love her no less. Here’s to hoping Hurts 2 B human is a bit different, and amazing as well 🤘 💞

I think it's time for me to move on. I have enjoyed being apart of the fam for so long but the new single isn't for me. I still love her but I think I'll just be rooting from the side lines. I will listen to the album when it drops but I think my time with our girl is done. Godspeed to her. Love you all and thanks for the memories. So dramatic 😂😂😂

Also, I don't think P!nk is that "compromised" as some of you are saying. What About Us was a brave af single choice, it is political (remember when her label denied her to use Dear Mr. President as a U.S. single?), and the electronic dance vibe was so NOT her thing. Actually, the entire BT album was so NOT her thing, she stepped out of her comfort zone, left the Pop Rock music, and still, some of you are saying she is being "safe". I'm not saying BT is a fantastic album that everyone should love it (I personally love it to death), but BT, musically was definitely not a safe move from her. Yes.... I think people are getting “growing up and changing” confused with “compromising”. The woman is a mother now!!! She’s calmed down!!

But yes. TL;DR VERSION: She can do a hell of a lot better 👍 I’m sorry but this is just so ignorant and misguided to say. Just because your taste /=\ her choices doesn’t mean “she can do a hell of a lot better”. Beautiful trauma was a phenomanl album. what about us and beautiful trauma were two of her best videos ever. what about us is like her signature song now and recognized by everyone already. She’s doing really effing good for someone who can do a hell of a lot better.... High standards wow !

You guys don’t like one song and it’s jump ship time. Geez, P!nk fans are better than that.

^ Oh I love BT the album. Don't get me wrong. I think it's an immense step up from TTAL who I think was, for me, her weakest album. "for me" being the operate words here. With no comment did I say my opinion is fact. It's just my opinion and my feelings that I would like to share on here. Nothing to be sad about. Some enjoy it 100%, others think that a few changes would have made things better. Yeah, her choices, our opinions. No facts, just opinions. And that's ok. Or at least it should be.
I just wanna wait and see if H2BH continues that BT streak in terms of music. I loved that she went a little into new directions with BT and hope she delves into them deeper.
As I said before: I'm not gonna let go. She's too much of a great human to let go of.

Geez, P!nk fans are better than that. i think you didnt read properly or just didnt understand it or you just the one who cant handle a different opinion. i think almost all of the "critics" here pointed out that its not just because of one song. this song ist just the climax of what went wrong in our eyes.

Nah, my issue is that her formula hasn’t changed. It’s a rehash of her previous work every damn time. Except for maybe What About Us. Remeber critics, you must kiss her ass or you’re not a fan.
Sorry but I’m not biased about everything P!nk. I will not support someone being lazy and dialing it in.

Sorry but I’m not biased about everything P!nk. I will not support someone being lazy and dialing it in. TTAL might used the same "formula", but she changed quite alot in BT. Club music? deep house? folk? tons of ballads? never were in her formula at all.

Should she try more genres of music? Sure.
But let's be honest, she was never a daredevil in music genre. She stayed Pop at the very beginning, the only exception was Rose Ave. And that was just probably a one time thing.
What I really care about is her lyrics, what made me a fan was her lyrics. So down to earth, so connected.
I guess the problem here is she's a mom now, and that's definitely changed her style in creating. From "I've been the girl with a middle finger on the air" to "What about us?", ya, she did change alot. But then, if that's what's in her heart, what she really wants to write about. I'm fine with that. Cos, her lyrics is the only thing I care about. Of cos there will be songs I don't like or I don't feel connected, but it's all good, at least I know what she's thinking.
