Yeah, I guess Try This was the last time. They did meet, however, during or before the FH album sessions when things between her and Carey were grim and recorded Halfway Gone which was released on Linda's Served Like a Girl soundtrack album. I think there was a little interview about that a few years ago with Linda. Oh, I thought those vocals were recorded during the Try This sessions, and that Linda was just finding a home for old songs for much of that soundtrack? Halfway Gone is so wonderful. It's a shame that Pink doesn't even remember that this song exists anymore, just like Try This.

the only thing is and maybe someone else can back this up, but didnt she say somewhere Trustfall gave her M!ss vibes?? which i dont know how seeing as M!ss is such a classic album and TF is nowhere near that level. btw when was the last time she worked with Linda Perry, was it M!ssundaztood?? I think it was for Try This, in terms of recording and production. yeh she should go back to Linda again. She really needs a big song that upbeat and a 'hit' like Beautiful Trauma and Blow Me but doesnt sound like a theme song for a kids film like NGNDA

I have a feeling that P!nk is going to collaborate with Linda Perry again on the next album, because 'desperate times'... She's been keeping that nostalgic collaboration in her back pocket for 20 years now, probably for when she really needs it, and the next album may just be the time. Also, I hope she and her team are cooking up some solid 2025 25th anniversary album re-release plans because the public needs the reminders. Honestly I doubt.

Let’s write a song.” And then I just kind of came up with this song out of nowhere. She was looking at me with those eyes like, “I missed her.” We didn’t think much about it, and we just wrote the lyrics. And she at the time was struggling with Carey [Hart], so we wrote that song. She had the raspy voice (in terms of raspiness, the FH and TT recordings are very similar) and she says "it's been years" since they talked and that she was "struggling" with Carey at the time. Just deducing but I don't think it's far-fetched.

I thought Happy from H2BH sounded like M!ssundaztood and i love that song, but none of TF is anywhere like the level of M!ss Happy is such a highlight in her discography! And yes, it definitely is reminiscent of M!ssundaztood. You could plump it into the M!ss tracklist and it would fit perfectly. The lyrics, the sound of it

If they wrote and recorded that song around FH, which is the only other vocal era that seems likely to me, I feel like that should've been bigger news than it was made out to be? Also, technically, working in 2001 and then again in 2003 for TT is 'years' apart, and she and Carey did temporarily break up around 2003. Hm...

She did have relationship issues with Carey at that time as well (that was at the time she had that fling with Tommy Lee). I really think FH era is not so far off tho. The raspy voice, the Carey thing... From 2003 to 2007/08 is a bunch of years and she makes it sound like some time has passed, which would make more sense than 2001 to 2003. Also, they recorded a slew of songs for TT, and in the interview she makes it sound like they only recorded Halfway Gone the day they met again in the diner. Who knows? Maybe it was 2005/06 during the IND sessions lol but I think the raspiness fits FH era more.

She and carey got “problems” around the time she got on tour, the I’m not dead tour. she said herself that they got married and then she got on tour for months and they didn’t know how to work it out, so maybe she and Linda met at that time. in between the 2 albums. i’m guessing that dinner party was before funhouse and maybe just after the tour or in the time she and some off time from that ind tour.
she and Linda wrote really beautiful songs, but I don’t know if they would now.. maybe who knows but I feel that Linda wants it for another reason, she is goten huge now, finally tho but I think her intentions are more for herself than 2 old friends getting together
