Do you think we may get p10 before next summers tour or any of the legs? Like she did for BT and H2BH?

no. That would be a mess as shes on the 'Trustfall' tour into 2024 and doesnt make sense. The whole 2 names for the tours doesnt make sense anyway. I know she did that with BT/H2BH but it was obvious when promoting H2BH she couldnt be bothered with it and it was probably because she was too busy with the tour, TBH i dont think we'll get a new album til 2026 at the earliest because the tour ends July 2024 then shes obviously going to then have at least a year break then start new album in 2025, so tbh i dont think we should expect P10 til 2026 / 2027
The thing is as well, I really want her to actually put more work into P10. I was saying this yesterday I'm shocked how little she wrote on TF and tbh TF is nowhere near her best album. I find it baffling she thinks it is. I really want her to cut the ballads out and get back to uptempo but I feel like shes playing it too safe. So i'd rather she wouldnt rush release P10 and puts more work in it and takes risks

She could have taken advantage of and worked on BT more and released H2BH as a special edition of BT or released H2BH after the BT tour. So I don't think she will repeat that mistake again. Praying she has at most one or two ballads in P10. I want pop rock and upbeat music. And no folk either. That's what You + Me exists for. |

I do think as well we may get a new Greatest Hits in 2025 for her 25th anniversary and that probably will include a couple of new tracks. But as far as a brand new album I definitely think we are talking 2026/2027. Which makes me really upset I could not get tickets for Glasgow as next time will be 2027/2028. Still praying she adds one more date but think I'm being too hopeful

I know her inner circle is very important to her, but there are definitely signs that some fresh creative people would inspire her to try new stuff out. I hope she would believe in herself again and just do something for the sake of doing it, because it's always magic what comes out. Bring back that truly mystery bag again! |

That's what You + Me exists for. yeh i have said on here a few times now, i desperately want her to cut down on the ballads, its boring me now. On TF, i love When I Get There and i love her new one All Out Of Fight but the rest of the ballads on TF i dont hate but if they didnt exist i wouldnt miss them. She used to have so many uptempo songs on a album and only like 2 ballads but the last 3 albums have been like 80% ballads and tbh its getting a bit boring |

What's important to me is that it'll be stronger rock influenced. Ballads please be gone. (Or at least not so many please.)
Apart from that I can wait. I rather wait for something good then not waiting for something that'll be uninspired.
And that says something for a not very patient person.

Then: she worked on TT for a second and it's one of my faves.  (or even CTMH to M!ss was only a year or 1 1/2 - and M!ss is my favorite album) LOL i think we just have to wait until the muse smooches her again and give her the time she needs to actually write and craft herself again, be it one month or six whole years, to create something worthwhile. I think it's the spark and her daring to "go there" (wherever "there" is) that has been missing the last couple album cycles IMO. I won't be mad if she releases the 2nd You+Me album in the meantime  honestly, I want THAT album now! Regarding style/vibe/whatever: Gosh, idk. There's a list of stuff I would like her to do. I've been missing the funkiness (M!ssundaztood song) and the blues (Misery, When We're Through) from her. Would love if she revisited the weird alt rock we got from Waiting For Love or Humble Neighborhoods, and neo-jazziness of Could've Had Everything. Throw in a bar rock song like Mean, a pop/rock anthem like 18 Wheeler, or delving back into Hey Why's electro mixed with acoustic guitar parts (that song was a TRIP and I love it!!) would be fantastic! And please... PLEASE... another cool sexy song I am so glad we got Make Cool recently! It's keeping me afloat in that department |

Because one of my favourite albums of hers is Truth About Love and she only spent 5 months on it. Looking at Wiki, i'm not dead which for me is hands down her best album, 5 months she worked on it, Funhouse a year. so that shows shes created her best albums imo in the shortest amount of time. I know this might sound weird as well but i dont want her going deep with p10, i just want a fun, dance album |

I like everyones responses. What made me think of this thread, like I said in my original thread was BT/H2BH came so close together during the BT tour so I thought with summer carnival/TF tour and then going back to Carnival we may get something new but I get what everyone is saying  |

And honestly, I think it would have worked better if it had been IMO There are around 7 songs that are very strong on the record but they get watered down by the rest. Overall, I actually very much enjoy H2BH, but skip a song here and there. If songs pile up during her next tour legs, maybe she will put out an EP this time around. Who knows |

What made me think of this thread, like I said in my original thread was BT/H2BH came so close together during the BT tour so I thought with summer carnival/TF tour and then going back to Carnival we may get something new but I get what everyone is saying I still think though her record label pushed her to release H2BH only 18 months after BT because I can remember in the small amount of interviews she did for it she seemed so uninterested in it and just talked about Carey and the kids. But i think she was pushed because she went 5 years without an album between TTAL and BT [well a 'pink' album]. Because I remember as well it was looking like she was going to release BT in 2016 and she was hinting it in interviews but then she got pregnant with Jameson which pushed it back to 2017. i have to say though when H2BH was first released, i liked it but wasnt overly in love with it but i love it now, its 100x better than TF |
