I absolutely agree with you, I'm glad i am not the only one who feels this way. I honestly don't watch her interviews as much anymore because of this reason. Her kids are adorable and she is obviously an awesome mom, but we don't need to hear about them in every single interview and Q&A she does yeh exactly. i wanna stress also, my problem is not that she talks about her kids, obviously shes a mother so shes gunna talk about them. my problem isnt even she involves them in things because i do like seeing them. I'm not that cold hearted lol. My problem is EVERYTHING is about the kids, every question shes asked, the AIKSF documentary was 80% about them. Now, obviously its about her tour life and so obviously they will be in it which i do like, i am not anti her kids. its just the whole thing was about them and she could've cut back and shown more backstage footage, or her doing more prep for the show or having 'me time', did we really need to see her changing Jameson's nappy? BTW as well, just to show that im not that cold hearted, one of my favourite parts of AIKSF was Jameson misbehaving and her trying to be serious and tell him off but bursting out laughing. That was funny!! See, i dont mind bits like that, i just dont want everything to be about her kids I also want to clarify that i am not hating on her kids at all, like i said before i think they are adorable and i like seeing them on her Instagram posts, and i dont mind her talking about them, I just don't like that the topic of almost every interview she does becomes all about them and not about her music. I also want to mention that im not cold hearted either lol. I just think she needs to tone it down a little

I think she kind of uses her children as an emotional guard in interviews nowadays. She used to be so open in interviews about her own feelings. Maybe its just easier for her to talk about her kids instead of digging deep into her own feelings. Especially since i still have the feeling that things dont look super great between her and Carey, especially during the album promotion.

At the Philly show she mentioned waking up next to a dumpster not far from the stadium when she was younger. I guess she still has her moments.

I guess she has to tread somewhat carefully, especially with the vulture press.

Pretty much. 😅 There’s no “off” button, not really. yeah, optimally it’s like that. You cannot stop being someone’s parent. I think it just shows that she spends a lot of time with them. It’s kind of her “job” as well. Nobody complains when she talks about other hobbies or the winery. The kids are probably the greatest part of her life and she spends most of her time with them so that’s gonna make an impact. And to be honest i find it quite ungrateful to be acting so entitled and complaining about her talking about her kids too much when she could just easily leave us for the rest of her life because she has everything and a great life without making music or touring as well. If somebody told me to for example abandon my kids for a while to make “better” music i would be outraged. You gotta understand that nothing will ever be the same and nothing will ever be more important than your kids once you have them. It can be equally important at best, but never more important. So give her a break or just try to accept that with time people change and this is who she is now. I was just gonna say this. Well said.

I’ve accepted that edgy P!nk is pretty much gone, and while I’m sad, it is what it is. She’s a mom now, and that’s her main priority over everything else. I think once her kids are teens and wanting to branch out away from home, she’ll have more time to get into music again and maybe, just maybe, start taking risks again. But really the evolution from CTMH to Funhouse/TTAL, was a fantastic ride, so I’ll just be happy we got as much as we did from her and her career.

I will forever be gratefull for my time with her from Missundaztood to TTAL. After that i lost interest and connection with her more and more. Maybe it will come back over the years who knows. But to be honest im having a REALLY hard time accepting this

But to be honest im having a REALLY hard time accepting this i know what you mean. To be honest, i worried about this 15-20 years ago. Because the thing that made me a pink fan was her edgy F U songs and rebellious image and even back then i did think whats shes going to do when shes older and grown up, she isnt that girl anymore, shes a mid 40s mum now. Thats why I love Hate Me off of Trustfall as its her only song off of TF thats like the old pink, same with Hey Why off of H2BH. I do feel like she is now including one of these types of songs on her albums to please the old school fans but shes not into that anymore. and i dont blame pink, shes 44 now and not the young angry girl that started off.

This special bond (and all the friends i have to thank her for) is definitely what makes me a fan nowadays, not the music she releases.

I have a feeling that P!nk is going to collaborate with Linda Perry again on the next album, because 'desperate times'...
She's been keeping that nostalgic collaboration in her back pocket for 20 years now, probably for when she really needs it, and the next album may just be the time.
Also, I hope she and her team are cooking up some solid 2025 25th anniversary album re-release plans because the public needs the reminders.

They did meet, however, during or before the FH album sessions when things between her and Carey were grim and recorded Halfway Gone which was released on Linda's Served Like a Girl soundtrack album. I think there was a little interview about that a few years ago with Linda.

Oh, I thought those vocals were recorded during the Try This sessions, and that Linda was just finding a home for old songs for much of that soundtrack?
