Well, the whole thing was to celebrate her career, so in fact it's not to promote a new song. The fact that she did it that way was sweet, I liked it. She's not really promoting the album either, she didn't mention it. She only mentioned the upcoming tour, which there are still tickets for. This was the purpose of the performance, plus the fact that she hasn't done proper high profile UK promo in a loooong time. yeh actually tbf that's a good point. and I suppose because it just came out today, if she just performed WMH a lot of people who aren't devoted fans like us would probably have wondered what she was performing |

Walk me home felt pre recorded at first and then cut to live on stage... or maybe I'm the only one who got that impression? Plus I don't like when she walks like that, it makes me nervous for some reason and I barely hear the song. So I didn't think whatever happened made the song justice, even if it was fun. I can understand that the music was pre recorded, but her voice seems to be pre recorded too. Or maybeshe sang, but over the record. At the end, it looks like she added a "tonight" that was not supposed to be there. I don't understand why they did that. That was the weakest part of the performance. I loved all the rest. |

It'd still be a celebration of her career if she'd sang the new song last and made it a little more bigger of a deal. Would have been cool if she did maybe a chronological thing and sang like one song off each era. There You Go, JLAP, Trouble (or GIADJ to have a gospel there), Who Knew, So What, RYG, Try, WAU and then WMH. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Something like that to showcase her 20 years and counting! |

She always does that! Doesn’t she? I love the idea of backstage and all that, and then hitting the stage, but I think it gives the right feel when you’re there watching it live. I don’t feel it from here where I’m at lol. |
