🎃 Halloween & Halloween II Just saw the new Halloween tonight. I enjoyed it a lot. Have you read anything about it? They made it as a sequel to the original and kinda ignore the sequels all together, But it does make a couple little nods to the others. |

I haven't read much about it, I want to see it without much influence/spoilers, so I'll be not too disappointed, hopefully. It's kinda difficult to ignore the original sequel Halloween II though, as it continues right were the first movie ended.  |

I don't like that they are removing the voodoo element of
Childs Play.... That was like one of the most important pieces of the story....
Also its weird to have a new Childs Play franchise starting when the original line is still carrying on 🤷🏻♀️

... and while we're at Zombie movies, one of my favourites is Day of the Dead, despite the limited location it has some amazing FX by, yes, Tom Savini
Wait... how am I seeing this just now I think Day of the Dead is probably my favorite of Romero's Dead movies. I ADORE Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead -- but there is something about Day that just hits all the marks for me. |

Wait... how am I seeing this just now I think Day of the Dead is probably my favorite of Romero's Dead movies. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I love Tom Savini's NotLD 1990 remake with the amazing, the beautiful Patricia Tallman.  |

LOOOOOOVED X and PEARL (X probably a tiny bit more, but Pearl was fantastic as well) and I am really hyped to see where things are headed for Maxine.
Love Ti West. Been a fan since The Roost (and he made The House of the Devil which is one of my faves ever), so seeing his career take off the way it does with this trilogy is incredible!

What are some of your favorite horror movies, guys? Thats a tough one, as I love horror genre. Firsts that come to my mind are Saw, Texas Chainsaw(2003 remake) Scream, High Tension, Ring, The conjuring, It, The descent, Get out. I enjoy some characters like Jason or Michael Mayers, but I cant choose a favourite atm. I find some Asian horrors very disturbing like A Tale of Two Sisters, Cursed, Train to Busan, One missed call. How about you? |

Hard question... There are some movies that I really like, but I don't know if they count as horror movies... For example The Others, maybe that's more of a thriller than a horror movie (I love thrillers too ). Or What Lies Beneath. I love vampire movies (especially the Interview with the Vampire), the Scream series, The Conjuring movies (the Annabelle movies too), The exorcist, The ring, The eye (the asian one-it scared the hell out of me), Carrie. I'm sure there are more... |
