It's insane how big Taylor Swift's PR machine is

What do you not get about music being subjective? Making the statements like “A is better than B” just makes you sound petty and delusional.

Doesn't mean we all agree that she is the best in everything. She's clearly not. I definitely think she has the potential, but she's not using it. 

I love her idea behind NGNDA (we don't try something because it's all in our heads that we're not good enough) but the execution/lyricism was poor. I also love the saxophone but just felt the whole song never lived up to its potential. 

Someone’s a little obsessed with Taylor. lol

And some people are clearly butthurt that Taylor is more successful. And no, it’s not Kanye or Ticketmaster (the site crashed because that MANY people wanted to see her live, another testimony to her success) fault (even though some of you are hanging on to that theory for dear life) lol Kanye definitely got her talked about the next morning and a while after that, but that doesn’t give you success. LOL Some of y’all would love to chalk it up to that, but she was already was opening with first week album sales ofmillion plus in the US, and debuting at #1. She was already becoming a huge success. If you really don’t know about someone’s career or trajectory, you really should keep mum, or educate yourself.

We all know why P!nk isn’t talked about like Taylor or Beyoncé, and it’s not due to a poor PR team lmao. Because when something happens in P!nk’s world, like a twitter fight, ashes thrown on stage, inducting Dolly etc it gets talked about. They’re just not interested in her every move like us fans are. It’s not rocket science.


Anyway, before Taylor, people were complaining about Madonna and then Britney. It’s now Taylor’s turn; she won’t be the last. Why are you so worried about P!nk’s success? lol P!nk’s not caring about yours.

Sympathy made Taylor a super star. I can’t. Ariana was already huge, and Rihanna was also, so to say the abuse or bombing made them even more popular is absolutely ridiculous. No one even thinks about those things anymore (in years, in fact), and their stars haven’t faded. Yes, it got media attention, but that doesn’t sell albums, and concert tickets, or make you a streaming monster. You people really do grasp at straws.

I disagree, because any movement that Taylor, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Selena and many others make generates comments on various websites and sometimes even on TV. Every Beyoncé or Taylor release is an event, especially on social media. What happens is exactly the opposite with Pink. People aren't interested in what happens in Pink's life and her releases. And yes, talking about Pink does not generate engagement, likes and sharing. That's why it's often forgotten. And yes, getting media attention generates interest and thus generates sales. Are you going to tell me that you don't see what happens when Beyoncé releases an album, the same happens with Taylor and it was never in the same proportion for Pink. I ask you why Taylor had sales of more than 1 million albums in the first week in the United States and Pink never had that? Were your albums always all bad? Why was Pink never a big hit? I'm not saying that Taylor or Beyoncé don't deserve the success they have, because they are great. But Pink is a long way from reaching that level.

P!nk's appeal is to the general public for putting on a good show and making some decent money. Taylor's appeal is very different. At P!nk shows most people don't actually know many songs other than the hits. At Taylor's shows, her fans are screaming every lyric. She's built a loyal fanbase that is huge and they help push her on social media. We don't have that.
