I expected another ballad and I expected it to be a bit boring. But I actually love this. It almost made me cry too

I’m really enjoying this song, maybe because it’s new and it sounds like it’s her lyrics did she write it?

I like it a lot. She must have written these lyrics it just feels so honest. Though i think Trustfall has really good songs, you can tell that he did not write most of the songs. This just feels so much like her again.

I agree it’s a shame she second guesses her ability to write songs or ‘he able to do this anymore’ as she says - when I was listening to this earlier I was thinking about how she went from love song 20 years ago to this - it’s gotta be tough for her

I remember like as early back as the late 2000s when she was releasing like her rebellious songs like stupid girls, so what etc thinking what is she going to do when shes older and in her 40s and 50s and beyond. Naturally shes going to grow up and not be rebellious anymore and be all F U in her songs anymore or be that angst teenage/early 20s girl , but thats what made her successful and loved and certainly for me thats what initially made me a fan all the way back in 2002 when i was 11. But now shes 44, has grown up, got a nearly teenage daughter herself and a son, where does she go from here apart from ballads?? I think maybe thats what pink is feeling too, the pink persona lets say was a troubled teen angry young woman who used her songs to vent her anger/frustration, but she has grown up and now a 44 year old mother who doesnt have that kind of anger/frustration, so where does she go from here?? Does that make sense??

Does that make sense?? She can go several directions, rose ave. was a perfectly mature fingerprint of her adult musicality. Now she is at her anxious ballad era and I am 100% sure that will shift too. Her rock reborn era is coming with some rock/soul infused music with more gut and gospel.

It’s freaking amazing!!! 💗💗💗 She should have released this instead of Dreaming.
The only thing is, what the heck is with the reverb on her a capella part during the bridge?! She sounds like she’s in a box. Seriously, I don’t know how that passed for release.

IF this song is what’s going on in her personal life and IF she and Carey are splitting up, I can SO see the video for this one. Like a tribute to their marriage, oh wow, would be amazing

I love her voice on it. I feel her emotion, and it feels like her which I love. It's what Trustfall the album lacks. I just wish there was a longer bridge.
