It's cute, though I don't like the isolated singing part. Wished it would have gone to the last part with the choir and then tucked on a bigger choir part for the end cause to me those are the best moments.
I wished she had released a Christmas-themed video for this cause it does have a bit of a moderate "yearly festivity-staple" vibe to it.

Yeah, the isolated part is the only flaw (seriously, who approved that!?), otherwise, it’s perfection. Damn, I wish it was a single. She deserves a hit with a true ballad.

I love that part. It's so raw and emotional. Almost like she's crying while singing it. But that's just my impression.

I’m not complaining about the actual part or her vocal lol It’s the “reverb” during the recording (we all know how much she LOVES reverb lol). Listen on good speakers and you’ll hear how she sounds like she’s in a small box. It’s an actual flaw, the song would be perfection otherwise.

IF this song is what’s going on in her personal life and IF she and Carey are splitting up, I can SO see the video for this one. Like a tribute to their marriage, oh wow, would be amazing lol seriously…. You guys are crazy. A relationship is ups and downs etc but this is taking it way too far, saying how great the video would look while they are suffering 😅

It’s impossible that she wouldn’t hear it and correct it if it was.

It’s sounds like a perfectly mixed song and then this isolated part sounds like it was ripped from a demo and then put in place. Even my producer/mixer said, it sounds quite odd.
Anyhow, I’ve made my point. Love the song otherwise.

It says she wrote with Fred Gibson and Johnny McDaid, so I’m assuming she did have a hand in writing it.
I'm all out of fight My heart will always know your name I'm all out of love But look at all the love we made I'm all out of life Oh, babe, it's killing me to say I'm all out of love, I'm all out of life, I'm all out of fight
💔
I feel like I want someone to sing this at my funeral. Morbid, I know.

Uhhh I love what you said there! It’s really so many different ways to interpret her songs / lyrics.
For me it’s about someone who tried for so long and somehow finally made peace with the realization that there’s nothing left (in a relationship). It also reminds me of a feeling that you can have when you wanna give up on someone/something, the feeling you can have on your worst bad days, and for that one milli second, in the heat of the moment. But that’d be more of a rock song I guess, lol.

But that’d be more of a rock song I guess, lol. yeh suppose everyone has their own interpetation of it. i remember pink saying before she doesnt really like telling people what songs are about because people relate to a song differently and she doesnt want to ruin that by saying this song is about blah blah blah. for me, i feel really emotional listening to it and thinking about it i think its because it reminded me of my mum's friend who until i was 12 was like a second mum to me and i was so close to her and i genuinely loved her. But she had a hard childhood and then was in an abusive relationship which then made her turn to alcohol. and it got bad when i was 12 and my mum banned me from seeing her because drink made her go from the loveliest person you'll ever meet to a very nasty woman and my mum didnt want her to hurt me. And i found it really difficult to accept she was an alcoholic. then i saw her when i was 15, i bumped into her and she wasnt drinking at that time and she looked so thin and ill and i gave her a hug and she was a bag of bones and it really killed me inside. unfortunately i havent seen her since i was 18 and im 33 now and it still hurts. and when i listened to this song, i instantly thought of her and how i would do anything for her to be the woman i loved but theres nothing i can do now So yeh thats why i think it made me really emotional when i first heard it. But it'll mean something different to everyone here. I am glad she released it tbh. it really should've made the standard
