I'm thinking that even tho I never wrote much on the the original forum, I used to read it everyday and it is very sad that it's still not working. I wanna take this as a chance to be a little more active and get to know you all better! I don't think I remember you on there either? But cool that you liked reading the stuffs. Can I ask you if you think I wrote too much on there? I'm asking because I wanna know so tell me whatever you think. I seriously want honest opinion.

I think I'll never be over sleep deprivation. No matter how much I try, I'm always feeling tired physically and mentally. I remember feeling good, once. Not sleepy at all. hahaha But that was years ago. My general fatigue is something I've learned to just ignore. aw that sucks. sleeping is so good. do you have enough time to sleep but have insomnia or are you short on time? I don't exactly know. I take naps, now, when I can. I just have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was 2006 (or late 5) when I signed up!

I just have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Feel your pain with that. Have you ever tried melatonin? I get prescribed it which helps a lot, but if you have it regularly it stops being effective so it needs to be paced. I tend to save it for really important days, but overall I have surrendered to lifelong sleep suckiness. 😂

I feel like I've known you forever (sorry, I know it sounds kinda creepy ), but I never thought you wrote too much! I think it's awesome that so many of you guys kept being active members even in between eras, when there was not much going on and Facebook kinda took over everything. So, no, I don't you wrote too much, I honestly admire that you (and others) kept writing, and I believe that is because of members like you that so many people are still passionate about the forums. So I kinda wanna thank you for writing a lot, I probably wouldn't be here writing this now

I'm asking because I'd love to know if I'm as annoying to others as the way I find myself to be sometimes, that's all

Since it got pretty much abandoned, I missed writing and sharing my passion for P!nk with other people. So thanks for welcoming me (again). It's good to be back ♡. PS. I remember seeing you at some point but can't remember what concert it was! Maybe Amsterdam or Berlin?!

That doesn't sound very good. I feel like they too often in health care still follow that strict authoritarian way of handling things -like you could threaten/scare people into health. It's completely the wrong approach imo. Sorry to hear they don't seem to understand your point of view. Is there any possibility to switch the nurse? BMI of course doesn't always tell the whole story but it's something to go by.. I still don't think you should drop out, just try to talk to the nurse and tell her what you need and show her that you really are motivated. Even though I haven't been in your shoes I've still caught glimpses of this world in the hospital world, because I was dealing with other serious health issues that no one could find a reason to some doctors (without even meeting me) came to the conclusion that I had an ED and treated me there after - in a very non-supportive way. So I've seen what the reception can be like and it can be very humiliating. I hope your current treatment facility is better than that though. Many hugs Maren! <3 I was going to reply to your message on fb but I find fb so messy so I should probably pm your or smth when I have a little bit more energy. That's exactly what I was thinking! They seem to treat everybody the same way, despite the fact that we are all very different, and all have variable needs. And I agree with you, threatning/scaring people into recovery is definetly not the way to go, and it can have the opposite effect. The nurse keeps chanting the same sentence "the faster you get starting with finishing your meal plan, the better prognosis, and you'll recover faster". Well, I am fully aware of that. But, she obviously hasn't taken into consideration that I have issues from the past I still haven't worked my way through. I am starting to think I got ptsd from the psychosis, but I was never assessed for it, even if one of my best friends (who has complex ptsd), believe I do, because I show many similar symptoms. Actually, the nurse who is "responsible" for me, is currently on a sick leave, and has been the entire last week, and will not be back until next Monday, so I had to temporarily switch nurse, so when my real "primary" nurse comes back, she hopefully won't be so god damn strict. I know, bmi is a good tool to go by in most cases, but I just disagree with their limit to 20. Not that it matters THAT much to me, but it stresses me out that they seem to be in a hurry to get me there. I will talk to her tomorrow, I have a foodlog/diary that we go through twice a week, and I will most likely get the opportunity to clear things up with her tomorrow, as I tend to write alot..maybe to much for my own good sometimes. But I have been honest with them all the way, dishonesty won't help me at all. I'm really sorry to hear about your experiences in the healthcare system, Milla. :-( <3 That is, unfortunately very common around here as well I'm afraid.. The last place I went to treatment (inpatient), treated me like shit on the ground. Using my lower back disc herniage/ruptured disc against me, interpreting it as an expression of lacking motivation, when in reality I was in so much pain I could barely sleep, or get up in time for meals, or participate in group therapy even. They threatned to discharge me because of it..! I never finished the scheduled treatment plan because of that. Their reply was that I had to fix my back first before going inpatient again. Well, here I am, 6 years later, and still inable to function because of backpain that still consumes me. They believed it was just a regular back pain that would go away eventually, but MRI scans showed a ruptured disc in L5/S1, with sciata, so no wonder I could barely walk, or have any control of where I put my feet whilst walking. Thank you sweetie for your words, it means alot, you have no idea. <3 Take your time <3 it's important to listen to your body and mind. I really appreciate that you took your time to reply, it was more than I could ever have asked for. Many hugs coming your way <3

I just became a new RN, so I don't know if I want to start messing with my already messed up sleep/wake cycle. lol, lol, lol. Ah. Here's to us, the sleepy people! *raise your glass, or sing the song*

Thinking this can't possibly be the end of PP. I REFUSE TO LET THAT HAPPEN! I'm willing to sell my soul for it to remain up and going. There has to be a way to stop this from happening. They have to let us be in charge. I'm literally panicking here.
