It doesnt matter what name the tour has it will be the same show since funhouse. Lets be honest there were only minor changes since. Its the same concept for over ten years. Only thing which is changing are the ticket prices who are now almost double as high as back then. What do you mean same show? I mean yeah some songs will stay the same, but I'm not quite sure how she's supposed to dramatically change the show at this point? When you've been touring for so long, it's hard to switch up your show that much.

She's self-aware enough to reflect on this and will surely add fresh aspects to the new tour. By the way, I see that you're new here. Welcome. I also noticed that each one of your few posts are pretty negative towards her. Would you call yourself a fan?

True its a formula that works but it kinda gets boring if you know that and it seems shes alright with that. Artists like Gaga or Beyonce dont do that. And yes I am a huge fan and love her since CTMH but I dont have to like everything she does.

Only thing which is changing are the ticket prices who are now almost double as high as back then. the thing is, she’s become so big that now she plays for a muuuuch bigger audience than before. (I think the upgrade was somewhere around TTAL, maybe BT when she started to play in stadiums. There was quite an upheaval here among us when it turned out she added like 2 new songs from the new album to the setlist.) and in my experience this audience mostly discovered her after GITA, so basically “halfway” through her career as of now. And this much bigger audience does not know most of her non-single songs. And they want to have fun and see the show that she is famous for. I personally don’t think the “theme” is repetitive but i do get tired of some songs because i was lucky enough to hear them many times. But she needs to please a lot of people who only know her singles and expect her to put on a show. Obviously most of us here would prefer to see her in a club with a piano and a guitar playing for 500 people and songs she never played before, but that will not happen anytime soon and tbh i doubt Lady Gaga or Beyonce does that either. And comparison makes no sense anyway. I’ve bern looking at all these promo appearances and i get the feeling she’s aware of these things you know? She knows who the “real fans” are and i think she knows the tickets are expensive but she’s prepared to work her butt off in exchange. That gives me some comfort

Last tour the BT tour started as arenas and then for Europe/UK it was stadiums. The show was basically the same but with a few added songs which was only due to a new album coming out in the middle. The set was adapted slightly and in my opinion too quickly without too much thought, but the concept of the show was the same. So this is no different, the name change is surely due to the fact they aren’t in the Summer. she took out i’m not dead, and I was devastated 😭 and nirvana cover. but i’m not dead was heartbreaking tbh

Good choice promo wise, horrible choice song wise.

I rather have seen she took out that eminem song, after amsterdam she did..that song did nothing, no response from the audience Half the songs barely get a response from the audience it feels like. I thought it was a fun and enjoyable performance. Also it was the BT tour, she only played half the album on the tour. Should've been more.

I love Nirvana but didn't feel that Smells Like Teen Spirit landed well on the BT tour. It was too thrashy. I always felt that Come As You Are would've been a better choice.
Anyway, this woman has given us so many memorable tour performances over the years. We are spoilt, really.
How's this one for a flashback?

That gives me some comfort I see what youre saying but she still could at least come up with a new theme or story concept. it would please the "singles" fans and would be a great thing for "real ones".

I rather have seen she took out that eminem song, after amsterdam she did..that song did nothing, no response from the audience Amsterdam was the worst of the tour, what she said about it in the docu was exactly what/how we felt, she wasn't enjoying it at all and we could see that (atleast the die hards) But that's also bit like what first shows of new leg are for right? Trying out things. Like the ring in Antwerp 2006 (IND) and the burlesque in Cologne 2010. Not amused she deleted IND of the setlist tho, band told me they begged her to keep it, but no. Summer 2004, promo 2006/2007 and TTAL 2013 still are in my top setlist-wise

Although I didn’t really like it live that much. Any song that relies on drums primarily to keep it going isn’t amazing live IMO.

Den haag was so much better. I really enjoyed it.

Concerning the US trustfall arena tour, do we know if there is a GA section or a "pit" and is it part of the VIP package? (And will these tickets cost $1,000?😩)
