I very much enjoyed listening to this interview. I really did. Thanks for sharing! They were both so calm and at ease with eachother, it makes their interview actually a real conversation, that one has with a friend. I felt a lot of mutual respect.

While I enjoy Zane's interviews as a whole, his interviewing style also irritates me and I can't put my finger on it.
Is it because he acts like every guest is his favourite artist ever, or that he has to philosophise everything?
The way he barely commented on the album gave me the impression that he'd only listened to the two singles and When I Get There.
I'm so over hearing about the children to the degree that we do these days...
Ask her about why she thinks this album is her best compared to others...
Ask her about the process of selecting the producers and compiling the songs...
Rant over.

I think they were both comfortable and had a real talk with laughter but also seriousness. However.... PLEASE, more on the topic of the ALBUM and tour! I finally had time to listen to it. I enjoyed the interview, but I must admit that I skipped almost all the parts that concerned her children.
She often says that we cannot know if what we do with our children will work, if we do the right things. But at the same time, she talks about what she does or says to her children as if it was an absolute truth, as if it was THE way to raise children. And of course, no one will contradict her.
I know it's mean or rude. It’s just how I feel when I listen to her talking about her children. When children are young, we get this impression that we do things better than other parents, but when they get older (I have 4 teenagers/young adults), we realize that we should have shut up more often in front of the other parents...
