It’s beautiful. Teared up on my way to work. I don’t understand how she just doesn’t start crying inconsolably in the middle of the song. But then again, this probably wasn’t the first take. i was wondering the same and also if she will ever perform it. Beautiful vid. With her own handwriting i think ❤️ |

Oh, that video was brutal 😭 what a beautiful tribute to her dad ❤️ But tbh I didn’t really care for the song, it gave me christian country vibes.

I heard it the other day and at first listen I was like she didn't write this song (I didn't keep track of which ones on the album she had written). And when I heard it I didn't know it was about her dad either, but I figured after I listened to it. I listened maybe ten times while cooking food, before I could decide what I thought about it. I like it, but it's not wow for me. But on the other hand, I still haven't watched the video that came with it, that you guys talk about. I'm not ready for that before a day full of meetings lol. So I guess it'll break me and change my feelings for the song once I see it  |

I'm sad she didn't write it. The song is not bad, the video is better. I try to connect with the lyrics but I can’t help but think about the fact she didn't write it. Yet, she'd written a song for Céline Dion who ripped my heart out.
Do we know if the song was written specifically for her (as she did for Céline Dion) following her father’s death or if it existed before? I just read that the song was sent to her.
