Her dad would've loved that. ♥️ It's a great one for anyone who has lost someone, can relate to it in my own life. yeh same i love it already. although bit strange its track 1 on the album. weird to start an album with a song like that

I love the sound and instrumentation. Her voice is really nice as well. It does end rather abruptly though.

Yeah, as someone who doesn't think there is a "THERE" to get to, it's a bit lost on me, but it sounds wonderful. Oh, thanks for saying that -- I'm an atheist too. I haven't lost my parents, and I don't have the best relationship with my father, so this is probably something I'll skip. But I've always wondered about her faith; she doesn't often touch on 'heaven' in her songs or lyricism. i think the song is more about hoping there is some kind of an afterlife. When someone loses someone so close to them it’s a bit comforting to think that they are still out there somehow, somewhere, in some way, than face the brutal fact that they ceased to exist in any way. At least that’s what i think/feel but i don’t think that has much to do with any religion or “faith”. Anyway, it’s a very nice song, i can see why it clicked with her but i also would have loved to hear her own words.

I had a first listen just now, it is out on Spotify (The Netherlands), beautiful song, she sounds just as beautiful and I can fully understand why this song means a lot to her and why she chose the song to open the album with. I feel like this song sets the tone for the album -> just open your heart and let it all in. I am so ready for all the other songs.

Listened to it as soon as it came out on Spotify here (which was exactly at 9 PM PSt). The song almost made me cry. Then I saw the video and decided to watch it and oh my god it hits so hard. Beautiful and hurting but also healing.

It’s beautiful. Teared up on my way to work.
I don’t understand how she just doesn’t start crying inconsolably in the middle of the song.
But then again, this probably wasn’t the first take.
