There you go guys  Wow I never really noticed! But this is what she meant by editing it down to what she wanted I guess. As you say it’s a shame as the bridge does kind of stick out like a sore thumb and perhaps in the original version it flows better. I like the song more each listen but the bridge ruins it for me as it sounds out of place. This may explain it. It was begging to go somewhere and I was quite mad when it did not. The Lumineers have this thing where their songs have such a beautiful curve, although I gotta say their last record, Brightside has very similar songs to this one. More mellow and flat. I wish we would hear the long version 🤞 |

Let's ALL be real here for a sec! None of P!nk's albums have been sonically cohesive because as she self describes is "schizophrenic " or ALL over the place with her sound! This album seemed like one themed with the exception of NGNDA and TF which caters to fans of Rose Ave which btw I loved! This is almost a part 2 of that album. She should've saved some of these songs for another of those projects!

I’m having a 2nd listen all through just now, I’m starting to like it more. It’s just all very different. I need to get used to this mood; it’s all very emotional, deep and heavy. It’s beautiful, it is. Maybe it’s just that most of the songs are not really my cup of tea - which I hate to say because I love her. I need to adapt, lol.

I don't know if I would have bought a ticket for the upcoming tour if the tour had been announced after the album. the album is okay, but I question whether it is suitable for stadiums. I would have really appreciated good new live material. Songs that make me look forward to the concerts. Currently the album on CD is enough for me, I don't have the excitement of how the songs sound live at the moment. I was so sure that she will sell out her shows with the new album.

Last night before I went to bed I had "Kids In Love" (one of the ones I originally found not memorable) stuck in my head and it's just such a soothing song. And today I've been having Long Way To Go stuck in my head too. |

I was honestly afraid to listen to the album yesterday, because H2BH was so bad, I really dislike it. Its only only album I never revisit, not even one song. I feel like, for me, liking a song also depends on where I am in my life currently, emotionally mostly. I am at a happyish place relationship wise so big love ballads doesnt do much for me. Try This is in a special place in my heart even though it was her worst reviewed album. I love it. Because that was when I was a preteen and discovered her music for the first time. I listened to the album twice, and I don't know why she said its her best work, because its not. Excuse me but Im Not Dead? The Truth About Love? Like come on.  Her voice is clear, but I, personally miss the raspiness of it (I know it went away when she quit smoking which is a great thing, dont get me wrong.) The lyrics have been weaker lately...the past 3 albums. I wonder if anyone else feel this way. Songs that I like: When I get There Long way to go - Stand out at the first listening, one of my favs. Hate me - My favourite, old school Pink sound. Lost Cause, and Turbulence are ok, I think they will grow on me. The other songs I find kinda forgettable and boring. I'd prefer more upbeat songs, or rockish, angry ones. I did not have a lot of "fun" while listening to it, if that makes sense. Ballads are not for me personally. I feel like she was sleepwalking through H2BH |

I didnt expect a lot and I just got what I expected.
Max 3 songs with repeat value. She became a typical empty and corny popstar. Sad but true. Dont even wanna visit the (probably same) live show in summer. Well at least we will always have her old music.

Definitely not as good as many other albums, but it still has a good blend of genres (rock, folk, edm) and has some meaningful songs. Not quite sure how that's empty or corny. |
