i must admit, i agree with this. im a bit sick of Willow and Jameson being involved in everything. i remember she did a Q&A on IG when H2BH was released and her kids were there and she was asking them the questions and i thought Alecia, your fans are asking YOU the questions not the kids. Or she'd give an answer like one question was whats your favourite book, and she spoke in great depth about a kids book she was reading with the kids and the last 2 seconds she went oh and im reading such and such and i remember thinking your fan probably was asking your favourite book YOU are reading without the kids not what book you're reading with the kids. i get the feeling she's pushing Willow particularly to be in ther music industry tbh, i wouldnt be surprised if Willow gets a record deal in a few years time which she will because shes pink's daughter 

I must admit I loved the song on Friday but I am already starting to get bored of it. I am really confused. Irrelevant was a cool rocky song that I loved and still love and it's a very mature sounding song and I thought that was gunna be the direction she was going down, mature rock which I personally think that would be the perfect route to go down. But NGNDA sounds like a song from a kids movie soundtrack. It's almost as if shes making music for her kids and if they like it, she releasing it. And again I feel bad for saying this but I am getting a bit sick of her kids being involved in everything she does. Ok Cover Me in Sunshine was cute last year but like the AIKSF documentary 90% of it was about the kids. And the interviews she does 90% of it she just talks about her kids. I mean I get it, she is a proud mama and I think shes an amazing one, but I do sometimes wish she would remember all of her fans are adults now and we dont want kiddy music. It sort of bugs me as well shes stopped doing explicit versions of songs like Fucking Perfect live coz there might be kids in the audience. It's not her problem if there are

Can I just say though coz I feel bad lol I still love pink, I just wish she would separate her music and her kids a bit

My bf has usually always right and he said it’s a good song and would be big in 2005-2006 but not today, cause this is not the sound ppl wanna hear these days. I don’t agree and I think it’s gonna do well maybe even because it sounds like nothing from today!🤞🤞🤞

I fully expected any song that she released even before this, to flop. She's just not relevant (ha) anymore. It's not a bad thing because she will still sell the albums like crazy and her album won't flop.

I really like NGNDA but the one line where she talks about "We've already wasted enough time" she either doesn't sing this and it was merged quicker or she doesn't say wasted she says waste it's impossible to sing.

Right, so here's the thing: you need to have realistic expectations and take into account the huge change in charts since P!nk properly launched a new era, especially with singles.

iTunes sales have taken a nosedive yet streaming numbers are overwhelmingly huge for most current acts. P!nk's audience in somewhere in the middle, leaning more towards buying and the metrics unfortunately favor streaming so it is a very, very safe assumption that she will probably never get a Top 10/20 hit on the singles chart unless it's a complete viral fluke accident.

She's doing well on radio it seems, Hot Adult Contemporary always has her back, but that doesn't mean much in 2022. NGNDA was added to all HAC stations today on impact date.



On the flipside of all of this, RCA is perhaps the worst major label right now. If you check their roster, you will see that very few of their artists have had a hit in the past few years. They don't do good with giving fans limited edition physical singles, merch drops, a proper artist store with digital versions to buy (explicit, clean, instrumental). Imagine having so many elements to play with visually for this record, yet they didn't think to produce a Vicious Bitches Chips'es merch line, a limited edition rollerskate custom die-cut 7" vinyl, collectible CD singles with cover variants, etc. They are SO traditional with their approach and it is just not it. They don't even have shipping points set up for the artists in different territories, it all comes from the US and those sales are not chart-eligible + VERY high shipping and import tax fees.

Even pointed out by Max to me earlier, she is teasing that the behind the scenes video will be dropping on Facebook today. FACEBOOK. IN 2022.



I pray the album pre-order goes live soon because God knows she needs every minute of pre-orders before the actual release date. They also need vinyl variants, a Spotify First vinyl, AT LEAST a standard and deluxe CD (cover variants would be better), a cassette, a box set, a t-shirt bundle for Target, signed art cards only available with bundles of 3+ formats, etc. ANYTHING to get sales.

She has a strong core fanbase and they never take advantage of that. Proof is the AIKSF zine, that sold out fast with minimal promo despite being priced at $40 with very high international shipping charges.



I digress, but I think you get the point. She has moved from a chart competing artist to more of a legendary status that sells albums and tours. I'd start worrying when her albums don't sell/chart well.
