After watching the clips from her performances at BottleRock , i thought this would be a good thread.
For her next tour, what old songs do you think she should drop and what ones do you think she should keep/add
in my opinion she cant drop Get The Party Started or So What because to me there are her two major signature hits
Songs she should drop
The main one for me and im gunna get hate for this - Who Knew. im sorry but im sick of that song now! every performance shes done since 2006 she has performed it ! i understand it means a lot to her but she has done it sooo many times now! everytime i watch a show of hers and Who Knew comes on again i think aw gawd this song again. its a great song but i think she has overkilled it now
Just Like A Pill - im not sick of the song like WK, i still love it. but like WK , shes done it so many times now. i think JLAP can be replaced now with a new song or one of her other old songs she hasnt performed so many times
Just Like Fire - i like that song but for a song from a movie im surprised how much shes performed it. i like the song but dont think its an amazing song so think it can go now. i do think she will drop it for future tours tbh
What About Us? - everyone wont agree with me and it wont happen because pink loves it, but ill never understand the big love for WAU, its such a bland song
Song she should add/keep
There you go / Most Girls - i was kind of sad BT tour was the first time she completely dropped all reference to her first album even though i understand why because shes now on her 9th album. but i'd rather she dropped a song like Who Knew which she has performed 500 billion times since 2006 and performed one or a mashup of TYG/MG. Ive lumped them together because i understand she wouldnt perform both songs in full length as they are from their first album and shes got a lot more newer songs to perform but i do think swapping WK or JLAP with one or both of them would mix it up a bit
Dont Let Me Get Me - i'd perfer she swapped JLAP out for DLMGM now just to freshen the setlist now. she hasnt performed it since Funhouse tour so think she could swap JLAP with it
Blow Me - she should keep. thats still a banger and still gets the crowd going. great song to do near the end
Beautiful Trauma - still such a banger too. But got a bad feeling for her next tour, WAU will be the song from BT she keeps and she'll swap out BT to make room for WAU
Raise Your Glass - definitely need to keep

I was in the nosebleed seats for the first Wembley date and the crowd was deafening, maybe even the loudest, on JLAP. So that's a keeper for me.

Get the Party Started ✓ -- I am still hoping for a GTPS/Humble Neighborhood mashup/remix whatever as the encore! Would be HEAVEN

Just Like a Pill ✓ -- always wanted this in acoustic form. Seeing that she did PDLM acoustically, my hopes are back up!
Who Knew ✓ -- intro/outro or mash it up with Save My Life, these two songs are kindred spirits
Try ✓ -- although, I would love this to see rearranged. Maybe she can do the orchestra arrangement like on X-Factor, but with less or without the band

But maybe if she did it differently, it would make it shine again. Either the X-Factor arrangement or the way the original is. I always preferred GoNorthToGoSouth's original. But you're right. This is like with Sober. Great song, but maybe a tour of rest would do it good. |

I would love if she added some non-single songs for the fans. She has a huge catalog of hits, it would not hurt to freshen up and add some substance with songs less known.
I would drop Blow Me and her usual covers. I would add different covers, songs from TT, H2BH and rose ave.

I think she said a while ago that she got sick of singing it. But she did sing the James Gillespie version with him on stage before the BT album dropped when she had those Greatest Hits concerts. <3 <3 <3 This might be the last time we heard it I want it back as well. It's such a good song! |
