Why do you say that? I know its still a long ways to go, but its ok to be happy for the progress we're making.  its better than we were doing further back. We've had some positive days too, but the last few days, ratings went up again. So, don't get too excited. |

So, don't get too excited. 72% of people died last 24 hours are people in the homes, our grandparents or maybe for some parents. We are really worried about our gran now. She just celebrated her 94th birthday...well celebrated...we sent card and that's it. What if this was the last one? Fuck...positive thoughts...positive thoughts  |

Just talked to my friend in NY for a bit.
Cool to see his positive attitude when what is going on there is so scary.
Even managed to laugh about some dumb stuffs.
And made a couple of the same jokes at the same time.
That same wavelength stuff is always cool.
Even when it’s the humor is super corny. 🤓😝

Apparently there are news reports here that says the "corona is the light" lmao. So the seasonal flu and the what we call it winter puking season don't even exist anymore it seems. Corona isolation and us all washing hands made it disappear. "only 130 people died from it this year" (old people).

That's weird what happens here. So many elective surgeries and appointments have been cancelled. The coronavirus affects mainly elderly people who are living in long-term care centers and retirement centers. They don't require to go to hospital for respiratory treatment since they receive end-of-life cares directly at their center. So, our hospitals are empty and our doctors have nothing to do while there is shortage of staff in senior residences.
Our Prime Minister said that we need doctors (general practitioners or specialists) to come treat the people, wash patients, feed patients and do the work of nurses and orderlies. Obviously, they will be paid $211 an hour, regardless of their tasks, to a maximum of $2,500 a day. Hahaha
What the fuck are we doing?!
