I feel so sad today 😔 so tired of this virus.. my boyfriend lives in Turkey and i didn’t see him since february.. and we have no idea when we will see each other 😔miss him terribly.. long distance relationship does not feel good right now.. and my sister lives in Milano with her little son who is 6 month old.. they just wanna come here but it’s not possible 😔 thank god for FaceTime ❤️🙏 all the love to u wonderful people out there. Yah. It’s pretty crazy here right now in Seattle. Police cars blown up. A couple AR15s stolen from the cops. Businesses destroyed. Etc etc etc As long as people stay safe is my only concern. A message is being sent right now, and I hope it’s being heard. ❤️ |

I hope things calm down soon ❤ I’m not for the violence one bit. But if it takes burning down a police precinct, and vandalizing some Starbucks, to get some people to listen, then I’m all for it. Building can be rebuilt. Damage can be repaired. Lives cannot. And the damn truth of the matter is if all this destruction wasn’t happening, there would be many people ignoring the protests all together..... If this sparks conversation and change, it’s a good thing. Again, I want nobody to be hurt. Not one protestor. Not one police officer. And I feel for small business owners BUT THIS MESSAGE MUST BE HEARD. And if it takes a little 🔥 to do it, so be it. The protests got so much attention out here, and had it not been as wild as it was, it wouldn’t have got nearly same airtime. ❤️ be with you all. Stay safe, people. |

And there was for sure some (I don't know about the incident you were referring, but I know for sure of some others).... But overall I think MOST of the people protesting do not want violence. I think most demonstrators were well behaved, and some even helped protect others and businesses (Pink reposted some of these) The destruction of property, though unfair to some individuals, I understand, and even find necessary to a certain extent. As I said, some of it was needed to get the attention of the people / the media / and those who refuse to listen otherwise on the topic violence of though: - some of it was REACTION, there were police forces that were being overly rough - some of the violence was between protestors vs anti-protest trumpys (there was a guy in SLC I believe, who brought a hunting bow and started shooting at protesters - the protesters ended up swarming him and setting his car on fire) - some (a small percentage of it in my opinion) were the people just looking for trouble. I saw people assaulting TV reporters. - some of the the violent people starting unprovoked attacks weren't even necessarily BAD people, but they were people who are so angry and they may have reacted wrong. I'm not ok with ANY of the violence, but some people have implied that all of the violence was just a-holes without any justifiable reasoning. There were lots of different reasons things happened. I'm hoping this does something to shift things into a better direction. 🙏🏻 I don't want us to keep having this happen. |
