After Zürich we flew to Stockholm and took a bus to my city, Västerås (it's one hour from Stockholm). Sooo excited to show Jeff the little shit town! Arriving home, we were pretty tired so we spent the day chilling in the sun at the balcony, booking hotel for Amsterdam that we had just added to the list of shows, checked out stuff to do here and there and had a few beers. We were also lucky enough to get two laundry appointments that evening (they were booked - but people didn't show up). So we spent the evening washing a gazillion clothes for the next part of the trip - Stockholm, Oslo, Horsens and Den Haag. One piece included the shirt P!nk wanted that I wore in Zürich on my 50th show, haaaa!
Meanwhile Susi convinces us to come to Stockholm the next day, on Friday already. We were initially planning on leaving early on Saturday morning, the day of the Stockholm show. She told us to sneak in to her hotel room, that she had got from our Vienna friend Karin since Karin couldn't make it because of double booking a wedding she was going to. It was the same hotel we would stay at that Saturday. So we went up to Stockholm late afternoon after breakfast with my friend and a walk nearby the waters here where I live. We spent the Friday evening eating Moules Frites and hanging out with two of our new friends we made on tour.
The day of the show we went to the queue pretty early for being Early entry, think it was like 9.30 am. So many of our friends were gonna be there so no time to waste! Rachael and her mama and her friend was there. Yvo and Miri and Pia. Later Bex, Mandy and Lotta arrived. Milla, Ivan and Maren. Salome and her gf. Pia and her friend. SO MANY. I know I forgot someone - sorry don't mean to be rude but it's hard to remember which show/city we met people in The hotel was literally AT the venue. We had 10 meters to the queue. I'll always stay at this hotel for the next shows, for sure! Also, we ended up being neighbours with Susi when we got our room, out of allll the floors and rooms, hahahaha.
During the day we had to move the queue back and forth, left and right, up and down, like 15 times. They also made three queues out of one GC and messed up the order so Bex had to sort it out and I heard later the security screwed her over when it was time to get in. Probably the least organised venue out of the shows we been to this tour. But was a fun queuing! This was also the day I had the takeover at the @pinkiesfamily account. Fun, but not sure I did that much of a good job that time. Wembley felt better
There were about 50 Early entry for the Stockholm show. It was Jeff, me and our German friends Denise and Pia and two new friends from Manchester that we knew from social media. Our friends Sofia and Josefine joined the queue later, allllll in super party mood, wearing glitters all over their face asking us if we want some too. At first I thought I'd look silly in it but after she put it on us we realized we loved it so on the rest of the shows we were doing, we threw glitter parties. So much fun!
We checked in for Early entry, got our merch, wristbands, went to toilets, grabbed beers and just hung out with everyone inside the venue during soundcheck and before being let in to the floor. We walked all the way down to the barrier, all cool and chill and everyone was happy with the spot they got. Seriously, Early entry is fucking amazing. No stressing, falling, being pushed, worrying about which door will open first - theirs or ours, or if the tickets will work to scan. This is all fair and withheld this way inside because the sweet woman that runs the VIP early entry, Tanya, will make sure ALL goes the way it should and that all will be fair and everyone will be happy and all questions will be answered and anything else you can think of, she's there to help. I swear she calmed down everyone's nerves a gazillion times, always with smiles. I have only good things to say about the Early entry packages by Eventtravel.
The arena had a roof, so it was an inside show, and apparently one of the smallest this tour. I don't know if I have anything new to add to what I think about the show but it was great as always. Sooo much energy from her and the band and back vocalists and dancers - just so friggin beautiful to see and soooo contagions. No wonder we can't get enough This was also the show I gave her the glittery shirt she wanted So I threw it up on stage and she saw it and her face went all "reeeally", in a good way haha, and then I held up a sign that said "The shirt is clean, but don't worry I'm still dirty". She laughed so hard. And then she said my name again and that she'll wear the shirt, haha. I WAS DEAD.
After the show I saw that I got so many sweet messages from old school friends, my boss, colleagues and a few other people that were there for the show, saying they thought it was a great show and that it was so cool I got the shoutout. They really loved her
We went back to our hotel and were gonna meet up with our friends there for a drink, but damn that bar was full, ha ha. And everyone was dancing until laaaate night, I think like 2 am or something. And so were we.
The next day I woke up sore as hell, not really ready to fly out to Oslo but we did after the yummy breakfast buffet
I've a gazillion more photos but didn't spend that much time uploading things on social medias cause the Scandinavian dates were pretty close to eachother so it was a bit hectic to get around
