I remember watching MTV in 2002 when I was 14 and the Making of Get the Party Started came on. I thought she was hilarious, and I wanted to find out more about her. It was the first time I ever had that experience with a celebrity. I had dial up internet in a tiny town, so I went online to find out as much as I could. I remember signing up for her message board, and then shortly after it was gone and replaced with what we know as the original shreadnet(rip).
I'm so grateful I found her when I did because in the next few years she helped me survive. I didn't realize I was gay and I had a lot of people die in my life, and P!nk and the shreadnet community was really there for me during the worst time of life. <3

Wow you guys have all been fans from the start! I remember my sister had funhouse on CD, and she would play it sometimes, but I didn't pay it any attention. I only cared about So What. Ha!
Then a few years after, when I bought Fucking Perfect as a single, I checked out the Greatest Hits album and looked up all the songs. I was impressed they were all really good, and at that point, I really didn't know most of them. I was like "what else am I missing out on???" so I went down a rabbit hole finding all the stuff she's done. Couldn't believe how good she was live, the GIA Grammy performance, Me and Bobby McGee cover, it was awesome. I ended up loving a lot of the songs that we're never singles too, so it cemented her a favorite. Saw her last spring as MSG and it was amazing.

Well me personally I came late to the party. My sister was a huge fan of Pink when she was around 15 I was 10 back then in 2002. She showed me everything, her music and interviews, also Rise and Rise of Pink, Diary of Pink from vhs lol and stuff like that. I got inevitable hooked with Try This and been a fan ever since.

I think I was 18 when her first song came out. I loved her style but was not really following her. When Family Portrait came out, she got my attention. I loved the song and the video. But still I wasn't really hooked.
About 11 years ago, I had a bad sports accident and it was then I started to watch interviews because I had to stay in bed all day :-) That was the moment I was hooked: what a personnality! I loved the way she talked, I loved her ideas and values, I loved everything she stands for. The next year I attended my first show, being 8 months pregnant. After my daughter was born, she came for a second round and the Carnival Tour and I attented them too.
Before all that I "met" on the old Pink forums a fan from UK and after 11 years we're still in touch...planning to meet each other in real life on a show of P!nk. But 11 years later I saw her now 6 times. And I hope many more to come...and one day to meet her.
My daughter was mad at me this tour because she couldn't come with me to see her. She loves the story she was in my belly, dancing a whole night long after the show. Didn't sleep much that night because of the emotions and her mouvements :-) So I promised her, next time she comes to Belgium, I take her with me.

I am a really new P!nk fan. I heard What About Us in a gym in 2018 and I really liked it so I checked out Beautiful Trauma and I fell in love with her. Her other albums came after. I bought nearly all CDs and now I am here on this forum.

I was in college (Penn State), and my roommate and good friend, Leah, and I were heading to the grocery store. We were listening to the radio, and There You Go came on. All of a sudden Leah said, "Greg, I went to high school with this girl her name is Alecia Moore," and I replied, "Oh sure, Leah." The following Friday, there was a party with all of her high school friends, and that's all anyone could talk about, "Did you hear Alecia on the radio!?" I was a fan after that, but once Get the Party Started came out, it was game over for me, and I've been hooked ever since. I was lucky that when I went to PSU, I had friends who went to school with both P!nk and Christina Aguilera. An exciting time in pop music for sure.

I'm quite a new fan. I remember that someone showed me the Sober performance back in 2011, and I was like "damn, how is this possible??". I liked her before, but nothing special, I thought she has a very good voice, and some nice songs, but nothing more. But because of that performance something changed, and slowly she became my favourite female singer. Then Sziget Festival happened, and that was the real turning point for me, seeing her live. That was the time when I really became a fan. I'm sorry now that I missed out a lot, but this proves that she still can get new fans.
