This is actually not a review of the show, but my experience.
So I came to Montreal whit my family. I have 4 kids (14 and 12 years old boys & 10 and 6 years old girls)... and a husband.
The biggest difference between these 2 shows and all the other shows I attended, is that my kids were about to see Pink for the 1st time of their life. And it's been a long wait for them since I bought the tickets on October 2017.
First show : May 17
It was a date night with my 10 years old daughter. We got first row tickets. She is too small to be in the pit and regular tickets were not an option for me. And what a night! As expected, Pink multiplied smiles, bye bye, winks at my daughter. And I wasn’t even jealous.
Pink seemed to be in a very good mood compared to last year in Toronto. She had a twinkle in the eyes, like if she was pregnant. Hahaha, I'm not starting any rumour here. Maybe it was because I was so happy that I felt like when I was myself pregnant.
The crowd was very excited during the whole show. When I watch my videos, its hard sometimes to hear the music since people were singing and screaming so hard. This show was sold out in minutes. Probably a lot of real fans were there.
A funny moment happened during Revenge. The giant inflatable Eminem was broken. They brought it in front of the stage but she didn't fight him. Instead, she went down in the crown to shake hands. That was funny. At the end, she said "Eminem broke my show"
Surprisingly, my daughter was not as shy as I would have thought. She sang out loud even if she did not have the right lyrics (a little bit of heredity in there😂). She had the feeling that Pink was singing just for her and she felt important. It's beautiful.💖
Second show: May 18
My kids and my husband attended this show. They got regular seated tickets, but still very good ones. And me, I was in the pit. 🤷
In mid-afternoon, on my way to the venue, I saw a little group of persons waiting in front of a garage door. I thought they were taking selfies (the door was painted with a Pink picture), so I kept walking. Then I saw 3 SUV with tinted windows. I didn't want to take picture but I was just curious. So I tried to look inside one of the car. I saw a child seat. So I took a chance and waved a little hello. Then the window rolled down and Pink said "Hello you". That's all. Only "Hello you". But that was cute. Sorry for people who were waiting for maybe hours because she didn't re-open the window (at least I didn't see it from where I was).
I met some nice persons in the queue, coming from Melbourne, Calgary, etc. I had a good spot in the pit and the show couldn’t be more perfect. Except when Pink talked to my girls in the crowd. She recognized my older daughter and she talked to my younger one who was trying to hide behind her sign. They didn't understand what was happening and my little one saw her own face on the big screen. So she started to cry a little bit. And Pink was sorry, everybody was laughing and it was just a nice moment.
Also, Pink retweeted my message with their picture. I told them that thousand people from all around the world will see her faces. They were proud, even if they don't know what Twitter is.
My little daughter told me that she won't cry next time. I was like, Pink won't talk to you at every show... or yes, maybe she will. Pink knows how to make dreams come true.
That was a very special experience for me and my family. I'm not the kind of person who seeks for attention. I usually live my life without getting noticed, except during a Pink show. She always tell me a little word like "hey welcome again" and that makes me happy.😁
I was supposed to go at NYC after Montreal, but my dad got another surgery, so I canceled it and sold my tickets😥
But the good news is that I’ll see her again in less than three months at Toronto... alone this time!
