Wrabel said or wrote on his IG story that the song is about the fear that comes with falling in love with someone. Reminds me a bit of Heartbreaker. <3 That’s how I see it too 💖

While it is obviously about the fear of having your heart heartbroken, I relate to this part on a more personal level. For me, it's about personal issues and anxiety that I've been going through.
It's going on 18 months now And it's fucked up, but I'm falling I feel it every day now But I'm stalling, but I'm stalling I'm here, but I'm in pieces And I don't know how to fix this And I don't know how to fix this, no

Off topic, but I still wonder about the writing credits. I wonder if she beyonced this and only got one after changing a word here and there (not sure which ones though) or if she actually wrote the song with him. How come she was only registered to the 2nd version of this and not already before? And how come he didn’t mention her two years ago when he sang the song in public? Did she tell people “don’t tell anyone, I want it to be a surprise“? Wish she would talk about the writing process. I’m really interested. That's curious. The lyrics and the melody are the same as what we heard before. I hope she wrote the song with him, but I don't feel it's her lyrics... but I hope. I wanna know. Maybe one day she will tell how she discovered Wrabel. It will give us a hint. BUT, she has always been honest about Try. I don't know how these credit things work. I read that she wrote H2BH and she wanted to have Khalid singing with her. "I had this song I wrote in Nashville and I thought, wouldn’t it be so cool if Chris Stapleton would sing with me? And then he said yes and I had to pinch myself. Then I thought, this song needs Khalid, and then he said yes." ew.com/music/2019/04/26/pink-hurts-2b-human-interview/Khalid is credited on the song. But not Stapelton. Because he changes a word or a note? I really don't know.

In that radio interview she said that Teddy had already written H2BH and that her and Khalid finished it. So, there I can understand that she was credited. But with 90 Days I am not sure how it went down. I love when artists talk about their writing process and how they met and wrote and all that. That’s why I could listen to her tell the same story about Eventually for years and years. Aren’t there still interviews coming up? I hope she mentions 90 Days, too. Maybe they met while she had promo going for BT and wrote it together but she wanted him to keep it a secret? Idk 😐

Maybe she gave him her diary and he put her words into a song, similar to Long Way To Happy and The Great Escape. Same thing Billy Joel told her, that she needs to write a poem and he would make a song out of it.

Maybe it was her idea to use the vocoder effects. It changes the song significantly enough to warrant a credit imo. That’d be more production than writing, but I could see the three of them just agreeing to a writing credit since that’s what she usually gets. Hahahahaha no way

I have a hard time thinking the effects were her idea!

I have a hard time thinking the effects were her idea! There were vocal effects on 90 Days, Hey Why, and Walk Me Home, all of which have different producers. I would assume she’s the one choosing to use them. She recently said she’s a big fan of Billie Eilish who uses those effects all the time too. I thought you meant that robot stuff Sorry.

I actually love those effects throughout the album in those songs. Gives it somewhat of a theme and I hoped that would happen after those robot voices in WMH which I liked. And even though I imagined 90 Days to be more in the likes of The Antlers’ song I Don’t Want Love production-wise, something more alternative/indie, I was pleasantly surprised that she went a different route and exceeded my expectations!

😒😒😒
Since I seem to be a country girl, I think the song would done better without it.

There's a lot more to writing a song than lyrics.

I watched this video a lot before the album release, but it's the 1st time I rewatched it since April 26.
