When BT came out I loved it because it was so new and we hadn't got anything from her for 5 years. I was taken back by it. I got bored of it super easy and I felt like the songs were just not what I wanted with exception of a few bops. Even the uptempo ones were more midtempo. This has pure bops (HOLLA CAN WE PRETEND) and I feel much more connected than I ever did with BT (HOLLA HAPPY) Yeah I get you. I was really worried about this album with all the comments floating around about it and a fair bit of a negative reception on some tracks. But I just enjoy the whole album. Even Courage has grown on me this eve. It’s an easy sing a long. The range is just brilliant like Dani said earlier... it’s got those power happy songs and the emotive ballads. |

The robot stuff in this song just like with Walk me home will hopefully grow away from my focus I remember I had something with Revenge too that bugged my brain back at the first few listens I wanna see your review! I felt like that initially, but that faded quickly for me. Such a beautiful song. I’m going to re-listen in a bit, need to let it sink in for a while. 😍 |
