I’m not here foryour entertainment You don’t really wanna mess with me tonightA career-defining album, P!nk fourth studio album, released on April 4, 2006, entitled I’m Not Dead certainly lived up to its title. After the massive underperformance of Try This, the songtress proved a comeback is just something the 26 year old (at the time) would pull out of her breathtaking lyrics, vocals and production. This was one of the albums of the 2000s that further put pop-rock as a forefront genre on the map. Alongside this, it gave us one of the all time classics not only for Miss Moore, but also in general, “Who Knew”. Who knew, indeed. What are your favorite songs? Favorite memories associated with the era? Did you attend the tour/meet P!nk? Where does I’m Not Dead rank in your album rankings? Here’s the track list for reference: 1. “Stupid Girls” 2. “Who Knew” 3. “Long Way to Happy” 4. “Nobody Knows” 5. “Dear Mr. President” featuring The Indigo Girls 6. “I’m Not Dead” 7. “‘Cuz I Can” 8. “Leave Me Alone (I’m Lonely)” 9. “U + Ur Hand” 10. “Runaway” 11. “The One That Got Away” 12. “I Got Money Now” 13. “Conversations with My 13 Old Self” 14. “I Have Seen the Rain” featuring Jim Moore International editions bonus tracks:15. “Centerfold” 16. “Fingers” B-sidesFor “Stupid Girls”: “Heartbreaker” For “Who Knew”: “Disconnected” For “U + Ur Hand”: “Crash & Burn” For “Nobody Knows”: “Words” Here’s the tour: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKaKPZJu81gV9tHKBj09E951Jkq3U-Kl6

First of all, I want to say this is my personal favorite P!nk record and it always will be. Not only is it my favorite because I think it’s her best work and an amazing body of work, but also because it means a lot to me personally. In helped me get through a lot of depression in mid-2012 when I listened to the entire record for the first time. The songs really connected with me and they still do. I think this is her best work lyrically and sonically. It’s the perfect balance between commercial and personal; few albums can hold a candle to it in my honest opinion.
Thank you Alecia Beth Moore for giving the world this unapologetic, stunning and honest body of work.

20 songs from an Era. That's what I miss the most. I loved the anticipation for this album on PP, when we found the very dodgy recordings of SG, WH and U+UH. Absolutely loved all the promo for this album.

This album means sooo much to me.. we had to wait so many years for a new album since try this.. The first time i saw her live...14 october 2006 in rotterdam holland...never ever going to forget that date... I can’t rank her albums because I love them all in their own way..and i’ve grownup with every album she made.

Still my favorite album of hers, one of my favorite albums overall. Everything was just perfect: the lyrics which were about social commentary to kickass anthems or lonely midnight thoughts, the absolutely stunning and memorable melodies, the flow of the tracklist, the genius videos (the first 4 videos together are the best from any of her eras, so different and memorable). The artwork embodied complex thoughts and vibes while projecting the album's main theme perfectly. I loved that she had something to say with this one, not her usual round of thoughts, but actually very intellectual perspectives and opinions. I miss this one so much, and that's why I'm Not Dead is still my favorite ever. And don't forget the vocal performance. It was rusty dusty yet so clear and loud. I mean just listen to Long Way To Happy or I'm Not Dead. You don't have to prove you can hit certain notes when you can deliver so strong emotions through your voice - and she did it perfectly with this record.
