The lyrics turned out pretty great! I wish she would have used them on a different production, something like Better Life / I'm Not Dead. The happy music and the bittersweet lyrics don't match for me. But better than what I expexted tbh!

Correction : This is the first time she put out 3 singles and not even one of those songs is outstanding TO YOU (or some of you, whatever). And you are not pre-ordering the album, we knew.  I personally love this song, sound so fresh and new from her. The lyrics are perfect, she kept her rebellious part and being funny at the same time, which is great. Also, I wanna say something about this forum lately. There are too much negativities here lately, all in the name of "we have the rights to share our opinions". For God sake, of course we do, but can we say them in a nicer way? You know, this is NOT a music forum, this is a fan forum, I loved being here is because we share the love for our girl. I just can't stand some of you saying we are ass kisser just because we stan P!nk. Seriously? Accusing fans are ass kisser in a fan forum? You may save it in ATRL. This album, or the singles so far sound like she's experimenting/having fun with different styles. I really like walk me home and hustle. This new one I'm still on the fence, but I am excited about the new album regardless:)

You want me in your face? Let's do this, I don't speak for others, I speak for myself, I never told anyone here to shut up and keep their opinions to themselves, unlike those hypocrites here to SHOUT OUT their "opinions" while cutting others chances to share theirs (positive one or negative one either way).
The only thing I suggested was to be nice, and I don't see any fucking wrong with that. I saw you showed your respect to the others, I have no fucking clue why I shouldn't be treated by respect? Cause I'm an ass kisser to you?

This is an entirely different direction that shes going in on this track.. definitely one im not used to when it comes to her... but im super proud that shes trying different genres and styles whether it works out or not.
I dont mind this genre at all and the more i listen the more i like it with each playthrough. Im still super pumped for the album 😎😎😎

I know its quite an upbeat song but was anyone else affected by the lyrics a little aswell?
The "can we pretend that we all end up ok?" line really got me... im having a bit of a tough time with some family stuff and the lyric hit me like a slap in the face.

Oh my God, I LOVE it! When I firSt heard the snippet, I was like WTF is this (and not in good way). But after I heard the whole thing, I loved it - it got stuck in my head right away and I had to listen to it again like a million times. YAY!!!

Apple Music says "we will fight the president" - lyric video says "that we both like the president"  I hear fight, but "both like" makes more sense? Omg I hear both now. The new YANNY/LAURAL. Totally! I just saw her tweet and I still hear “That we won’t fight the president”. I even tried it on my colleagues without saying anything and they heard the same as me😫 |
