I had some sick hope that this would be like some sad club song to dance to in the vein of Robyn’s Dancing On My Own, but with Family Portrait-ish lyrics (the can we pretend reminded me of let’s play pretend lol)
And now I hear it’s got cheesy lyrics and an EDM break/drop from 10 years ago 😂
Anyway, I hope it’s not as bad as everyone assumes and people that have heard it say it is. 🤞🤞

I heard this is a basic EDM song with a dated drop and I hope that’s not true.
The lyrics in the OP are basic underdeveloped and hopefully the song has some saving grace moments.

But do you remember the song her dancers danced to before Feel Good Time/God is a DJ? Higher State of Consciousness? That would be an example. It’s techno/rave. I just hope it’s good and not what Britney Spears gave us with her last albums. I want something that’s more reminiscent of the 70s-90s. |

I wanna listen to it first. I try to have an open mind. I mean, the same insider from ATRL said Hustle sounded like that LIttle Mix song and it didn't at all in the end. Yeah, there might be a dated drop in CWP but all in all it might be a great song! And those lyrics are only a small segment of the whole thing. Also, it's a party song it seems which doesn't need to have great lyrics (although, I do hope they're clever in a way).
So, basically, what I'm trying to say is: let's wait and see.

Is she doing like other artists nowadays releasing multiple songs before the album? Have they decided what's gonna be 2nd single? I hope it's Hustle and that we get a video since it has a big hit potential.
Now the lyrics really worry me and they seem her worst yet, but Blow Me didn't have the best lyrics either, yet I love the song.
