WHY ?! I do NOT understand this decision at all! Ugh. I’m glad I watched it so that I could be prepared. And, I’ll be the one smiling and singing along like an idiot. But also, maybe I should make a sign protesting the removal of IND? Too much? I think not. Haha, do it! ❤️👊😎 She can’t have it easy with us aaaaaaaaall the time

Is it just me or does Walk Me Home sound kinda bland live Yes. I thought it would be an awesome live song. Apparently no.😔 They should move the song somewhere else in the show. Maybe with I am here? Agreed. I was kind of thinking it might even replace IAH.

Nooooo not I'm not deaaaad I hope this setlist stays in America 😂😭😭💔💔 I vote it stays in Florida🤦🏼♀️! Makes zero sense to replace IND with WMH. It’s a short enough song... it’d fit well in as one of the campfire songs. Although, at both of the shows I made it to during the first leg the crowd didn’t seem to even know IND. I was the only one singing along to IND from my side of the pit one night and the other it was just myself and the lovely English couple that had befriended me (by one of them accidentally spilling their drink on me😂) singing along from the section of the floor that I could see. Maybe that's the reason.. but I agree WMH just doesn't fit in there it should be in the acoustic part of the show.. also IND is one of my favorites (((( I'd be so happy to hear it live again

And I'd be HUGELY disappointed in P!nk if that's the reason.

WMH is so short they could just add it to the setlist.. I dunno.. Just makes me sad It makes me sad too. It felt like she actually enjoyed performing the song and that it meant a lot to her too, not just to us. I understand that at least half of the songs need to be big hits because it has to fit 99% of the people there, and it's fun for them to sing along and yada yada, but the whole show doesn't! Plus, if they don't know one song, so what? Maybe they like to hear something they haven't heard before, maybe it'll make them curious about more of them songs that they haven't heard before. I'm not dead was the last hope I had for that, the rest is already overplayed on the radio. I want people to get to know her other songs too and not just the ones that are already in the light. But whatever, I'll just go be upset by myself and hope that somebody will think of that perspective some day too and not just what song would win a popularity contest

A lot of the people in our Shreadnet group (meaning long time fans from the first board) on Facebook are saying this too. I’m not really convinced yet, but I can understand why they feel that way and I see their points. Maybe older non-hit songs on older albums aren’t “as relevant” to her anymore, as they are to us. Maybe that’s what’s happening here 🤷🏽♀️ I donno.

Yeah her Brit medley, even though great, seemed like she wanted to “get rid” of her old classics. I think there were only songs from 2012 and onwards and maybe that’s what she tried to convey? She’s one of the new kids too and doesn’t rely on her old catalogue? Lol idk but it would have been nice to see her perform one song from each era IMO to just show what she contributed to the music scene for two decades.

I hope she understands she’s a legend and someone these new chicks look up to. She’s their role model and will never be one of them. And I sure as hell hope she doesn’t try to either. Pink’s royalty. She needs to be more proud.

Do you think her people try to change her, and make her “fit in” with these new artists?

Do you think her people try to change her, and make her “fit in” with these new artists? I mean, there was this radio interview where one of P!nk’s label executives or producers has stated (sorry, I forgot who it was, maybe it was Roger?), that there’s always an RCA guy coming by the studio to check in on her and tell her what’s trendy in music at the moment so she can keep tabs. So, I am guessing, yeah. I mean, she’s a mainstream artist so she has to adhere to the label’s rules and compromise a lot. There was an old VIVA interview where she says exactly that, that she compromised for IND only so much that she could still look at herself in the mirror at the end of the day lol I mean, in a way it kind of started there. Maybe her commercial failure with Try This still haunts her? I’d love another record where she just does what she feels like doing like with M!ss or TT where her executives either were “we give you the opportunity to fail” or “do whatever you like”, and still be within mainstream capacity (otherwise she can sell her records out of the back of a trunk lol) but still left field and trendsetting as she was. I get that she has a family and cannot be the girl who tours with Rancid or sleeps on Linda Perry’s floor for three months, but I don’t think that’s an excuse for dwindling creativity. She’s still got it. There’s still fire I want to believe. She somehow “tricked” or found loop holes in her contract to make rose ave. I think she said in one interview that if she had had done one thing differently with its release, she would have had to pay big time to RCA in fees lol So yeah. She seems to try and go with the times, and that’s okay, but I’d like to see some of that musical passion again in her work. Not performance, but music, I want to stress. Cause at the end of the day, I am much more of an album guy and just love a nice body of work.

Cause at the end of the day, I am much more of an album guy and just love a nice body of work. Me too. But I wanna see it live as well, since I got to so many shows. And that’s my decision and nothing she or anyone has to care about or think about when putting together a setlist. My only fear with her will always be someone taking advantage of her by changing her while she’s busy not seeing it because she’s focus on something else, more important. And that’s probably something that will be my fear with my kids too if I ever have any, that is a fear with my friends getting new bfs, and all that. So as long as she does what she thinks is the best thing and P!nk is more P!nk than her label, I’m gonna be OK with it. Probably not agree with all of it, but I’d be OK with it.
