I think he's definitely trying to provoke... Which is pathetic... BUT, I started rifle shooting when I was about 8-9(My mom had a thing for hunters). Then went on to compete around 11. So I grew up with rifels in the house. They were locked in a safe that I didn't know or wanted to know the code for. My older sister was also competing in pistol shooting but she was an adult at the time. She said the focus and concentration it required helped her with stress. And I would agree that shooting has made me feel more relaxed and worked as almost a therapeutic tool. I don't think my upbringing around guns has had any negative influence on me as a person or any extreme views on gun control in general. I disagree with the gun laws in America but I do not disagree with children using guns/rifle's for sport in a controlled environment. There has never been a link between violence and using guns for me personally. Almost the opposite, you feel very "zen" after a shooting practice. But I think Carey posting this video is more for trying to provoke ppl rather than being a proud dad or whatever. It's become a stupid back and forward between him and the "trolls". And not doing any good for anybody. Even if I don't agree with hunting at all and animals killed, I would at least understand why their way of living (with rifles and kids growing up in that environment etc) looks the way it does.

I've never shot an animal so I wouldn't want to comment on that but I'd feel morally better eating a deer shot by a hunter than buying any meat in a supermarket. Slightly off topic but since we're discussing hinters.

And not doing any good for anybody. Pretty much this. I mean, there are gun/rifle clubs in Germany and I personally might not feel comfortable sending my 3-year-old there nor do I feel safe with guns around, but I, in a way, get that people see it as sport and just feel zen shooting. As long as it's secure and there's a trillion rules and shit to make it as safe as possible to go to clubs like that or even own a gun, then oh well. Go at it. But be very aware of the consequences. But Carey, oh man, he seems like such a dumbdumb... he wants to "poke the bear" but then acts super sensitive and bratty when it feels attacked and comes back to bite. I don't think I ever liked him. I don't know him personally, but he just always strikes me as too sensitive and insecure of a person from what I've seen and read so far. And this (the IG comments posted a couple posts above) just again speaks volumes about his character. He shuts down completely and seemingly wants a discussion but fires back with stuff like: block/unfollow me... seriously? I just hope the kids are safe. Personally, this would just add to my anxiousness and big-time-worry, but if P!nk's all chill about it then great.

And I don't think me or my sister had to go through any type of test/assessment before being able to own a weapon. Which I'd be totally Okey with having changed. Not sure weather or not they checked my sister's criminal past or not, I'd say probably they did. And I can without hesitation say that I knew kids back in the day that it wouldn't have been Okey to give a gun to at the age of 8 so probably need harder restrictions on that as well.

Unless you understand what going on in my country don't start debates you know nothing about. This post makes me upset because you don't know what's going on and yes a picture can tell a thousand words but if you don't like it follow someone else and leave the Harts alone. Why pick on them every time they post something you don't like or understand? America right now is not at it's best so we don't need people pointing a finger at us and telling our citizens how to live. We have to live here and we know what's best for our families so take or leave it. You don't like what the Harts are doing don't pay attention and there are more important things to worry about in this world then what Alecia and Carey are doing with their family. As fans yes we want to know their every move but as people we need to give them so respect and space to live their lives! This place isn't what I thought it would be so I think I need to take my own advice and leave for a while. I think this place has become very judgmental and I for one don't like how everyone criticizes the Harts for every little thing they do. Please let them live their lives. I hate to say this but I think this place is worse then Instagram with the opinions flying. So I' ll be back later to see if people can be nicer to one of my favorite families. ✌️

Besides we let them live their lives, not much we can do anyway?

And even if we knew nothing, you shouldn't shut people up. Have you ever considered telling us what it is that we don't know, so we can talk about it and understand you better? If that's the impression you get from us (speaking of judging.... ). None of us is saying anything with hate either. It's a discussion that Carey himself put light on. And I'd say, all of us care about them and love them. Which makes me wonder what exactly it is that upsets you? We're not Americans and we don't live your lives, no. That doesn't mean we don't care about what's going on over there, or talk about what we see, or what our opinions about things are. What's wrong with that? If someone's telling anyone how to live or behave, it's you.

Teaching gun safety is one thing....having your kid shoot targets with a rifle is another. Completely unnecessary. Especially for the child of a celebrity who already has more security than most will ever need. Gun accidents with children happen all of the time here. Disgusting.

Oh this is awful. Their instagram posts are annoying and make me sad lately to be honest. Obviously I dont know him but what comes off from social media is just not cool and disappointing. (this is not how I imagined him to be)

I’m with you Dani, the antagonistic and entitled attitude is wholely unnecessary and when someone gives him what he wants he pretends to want a discussion. Bullshit. He won’t change his mind and you don’t start meaningful conversations by mocking people when more often than not people have made suggestions because they care and have a lot of love for the family. It’s nothing but posturing...
I’m English so guns are generally a non-issue here, however I did shoot on a few occasions in Scouts as a kid.
The act of shooting is fun, yes, but that’s not about guns. Archery is fun. More than anything it’s exciting to set a goal (the target) and hit it or watch yourself improve. You get that rush of endorphins, cool, but that’s not exclusive to shooting and is available in lots of sports/games.
I do understand the culture having lived in Houston, Texas, but I’ll never be convinced that an ancient amendment is more important than people’s lives. You can’t spray and destroy thousands of lives (including family and friends of the victims) in seconds with a knife. Access to something capable of such dire consequences should be strictly regulated, not something you can get in Walmart after your weekly shop. It’s madness. The world is evolving, and the way we live should progress with it. You can be responsible, get relevant training/permits and have guns without it being like this. Why anyone wouldn’t want that is downright scary.

P.S, I don’t care where you’re from, us “foreigners” are allowed to have concerns. We share a planet. We are human. We SHOULD care about each other and have concerns when we see tragedy after tragedy that is/was preventable. You don’t have to live in the US to have love for the people that reside there. I see no barrier, just people, and I don’t want that shit to happen to anyone.

Ugh. No comment. They can do what they want with their children, but the parent police shit is so immature. He’s definitely trying to provoke, they both do it. Guess they’re not as busy as I thought.

I'm happy that this place is a peaceful place where we can share our opinions, no matter where we live.
