Hmmmm. It’s a tv show = fake. So you don’t have to feel thaaat bad about Paco In the beginning I just felt sorry for Joe. And then he seemed to really care for her, there was a healthy little moment there for a while, and then he was back on his creepy controlling self again. And then it just escalated. I’m thinking there are probably more Joes in the world than we think. I wish he had someone in his life that could have told him about wrong and right even if he had been taught nonsense when he was a kid. He seemed to be very alone through life, which is probably because of his manipulative personality. Yeha I thought Beck was smarter than she was. She should have played him from the first beginning when she woke up in the cage. Wtf was she thinking was gonna happen to an insane person if she would wanna go against his plan the way she did. Lol. Just stupid. But I don’t blame her waking up from heaven into hell 🤷🏽♀️ yah at the beginning I kinda liked Joe, in a weird tv romcom silly situation fantasy way. him being in the shower when it gets turned on seems like something you could see in a funny 90's comedy movie and not really bat an eye at. but in real life, sneaking into somebodys house like that is fucking nuts. and he gets worse and worse. but hearing his inner dialog you do kinda understand that he means well. or he thinks he does. but hes legit crazy.... the actor does a good job of that I think. as the series goes on. his little twitches and getting more and more neurotic and some of his facial expressions. Sneaking into peoples homes is sooooo American movies/tv lol. I don’t think it’s that easy irl. Also him accessing her phone and computer, ha ha. I mean fine if he was some kind of hacker who knew how to do it online but guessing passwords and shit, nahhhhh. Come on. Anyway they did make it pretty realistic somehow anyway. Yeah, this is his perception of love. Everything he does is justified by love, at least according to him. He’s a great actor. I’ve seen him before in some other tv show. Love his pointy nose and his jaw and lips 🤪 does that make me crazy?

there were some little details too in the show that I liked. Dani, did you notice Joe intentionally mispelling things in Benji's texts / tweets. i liked that little touch. Oh and speaking of Benji. is everybody just fine with the answer that Benji went away on vacation? shouldnt his business partner be a little more worried about him? 🤷🏻♀️ I guess maybe Benjis druggie lifestyle, they think this isnt too out of his character.

Yeah something like Parteyyyyyyyytyyy ttyyyttt lmao. He seemed like an irresponsible little boy thinking he’s the king of the world, so yeah most likely people thought he got an impulse and left 🤷🏽♀️ Did you notice how Joe kinda felt normal with Karen, and had mostly healthy thoughts, but somehow he missed and likes the rush he gets from cheating, chasing and controlling?

It’s also pretty clear that he can’t even trust himself. Thinking one thing and doing completely different.
Uhh. So is this a psychopath. It is, right? He lies, manipulates, cheats, kills and feels no regret about any of it.

Karen was good for him. He started to get his shit together. but then needed to have that control, like you said. and thats exactly what he accused Peach of trying to do, control every aspect of Becks life. I'm thinking though, even if Joe / Beck had truely been done at that break up. and they hadnt crossed paths again, I'm sure Joes tendencies would have started to show with Karen. he would have found a reason to get jealous / suspicious. He would have gone back to his old ways. we dont really know what happened with Joe, do we? did they ever say? we know he doesnt really have a family, and that Mr Mooney took him in at a young age. I wonder what Joes childhood was like before Mooney? they probably did say and im spacing it. Whether it was said or not, Im guessing it was like Pacos maybe. Except where Joe tells Paco they'll take your mom away and youll never see her again l, it actually happened w/ Joe. he obviously has huge trust issues.

He lies, manipulates, cheats, kills and feels no regret about any of it. yep. hes taking any responsibility away from himself. "Its what I had to do". Everything is somebody elses fault. Even when he says "I'm sorry" its an act, you never feel any genuine remorse from him

and not only does he think hes done nothing wrong, ever. he takes any of things that Beck has achieved as being to his own credit. "your life is so much better because of me" 🙄
god, he really is a sicko. even if he had never killed anyone. even if he had never stalked. even if he had never lied.
just his fucking attitude makes him a lunatic sicko. youre not gods gift to the planet, Joe.

They can’t hold that facade for long, but they do try hard 🤷🏽♀️ Yeah he was the “favorite boy”... and got raped. Or wait no that’s the psycho in The fall I don’t know. It seems like the cheating his first gf did fucked him up and made him lose all trust in everyone. Probably combined with troubled childhood 🤷🏽♀️ Daaaamn. I wonder why some people can go through so much shit and still remain the same (us both lol) and some get so fucked up they become so horrible. Is it genetic? What’s it really about? Hmmmm.

He was never responsible for anything he ever did. And he was really convinced about that himself so it didn’t work to even make him try to understand. That’s probably the worst trait I know in people besides lying and manipulating.

Distance yourself and don’t hope for a change because it’s not coming lol.

But I don’t think so. Some behaviors are a part of a personality which can take years and years of therapy to even change slightly 🤷🏽♀️ But yeah some are naturally assholes and I don’t even think they are aware how shitty they treat people because no one has dared to even tell them. Omg what if we are assholes but we don’t know it I hope you’ll tell me when I’m being an asshole!!! I think most people probably are from time to time though. Yeah, don’t trust their words it’s their actions that matter. That’s what I’ve learnt Plus, trying to change someone’s bad behavior time after time is a pretty crappy idea anyway. It’s better to just let them be and move on and save the energy and yourself.
