Listening to it now. Definitely one of her best, it’s easy to forget how sad and heartbroken she once was

oh wow 10 years still a fab album. also was the last era I saw her live. saw her on the 2009 arena tour then 2010 summer carnival tour. that'll finally change next year!! ive always wondered how she feels about this album now that she and Carey are happily together again with 2 kids. do you think she regrets any of it??

Listening to it now. Definitely one of her best, it’s easy to forget how sad and heartbroken she once was Yeah, it's her moodiest album. I love how bittersweet, heartbroken and hurt it sounds, and beautifully represents the ups and downs as you go through heartbreak. Also, it had a certain vibe which usually her other works lack of. Denis here says this most of the timey but I totally agree, it's like a book: you open it and scroll through the pages and getting more and more deeper to the story and mood. The album artwork just helps this feeling getting more immerse. Also, the tour is her creative peak.

[quote timestamp="1540651534" Also, the tour is her creative peak. True! From the Highway to Hell video intro to GITA as magical closer, that was truly her creative peak in regards to tour concept! And, even though I didn't attend it, the Carnival Summer tour looked just as incredible. FH tour and CS tour were the perfect mix of entertainment/actobatics and music.
