I’ve been meaning to watch this for a couple months, but finally watched it on my flight….
I enjoyed it a lot.

Loved how absurd it was and still so damn touching! I feel it could have been better if trimmed down here and there as it did feel a bit long and exhausting -- especially by the end -- but it still was a fantastic movie overall. |

Just watched Licorice Pizza on my plane ride home. I had multiple people say its great. And it was well done. Its likeable but…. I couldn’t get past the age difference of Gary and Alana.
Like, I get that they aren’t really a couple, and that they are “business partners”, but there is that undertone, plus a few scenes that are more than that.
I feel like people would be very annoyed if it was a 25 year old man, and 15 year old girl, rather than 25 year old woman and 15 year old boy.

I know that many movies have done that, so maybe this was to spin it with the male being the young one.
But yeah. It just kinda bothered me.
Whatever, I dont like Paul Thomas Anderson anyway. |

It just didn't grab me at all or I wasn't much intrigued with it (I think I watched till the half point), even though I was actually excited to watch it. I will most likely give it another go some day. |

PEARL ... and it was FABULOUS and UNHINGED  amazing horror drama and a fantastic prequel to X. Can't wait for the trilogy to end with MaXXXine  |
