SOLO
Overall I liked it, but I feel like it didn’t quite meet my expectations.
It was fun though.
I went in knowing a good amount of spoilers.
I feel like you can almost tell which scenes were directed by which director.....
There are some overly silly scenes which I feel like had to be done by the original directors before they got fired - and then the scenes that seem a little less choppy were probably Ron Howard.
I liked the actor that was young Solo, Alden Erhenrich (spelling?) better than I thought I would.
Donald Glover as young Lando was great - but again if I had to guess the scenes directed by the original directors, Lando wasn’t quite on. I feel like his voice changes throughout the film but at certain points he does a spot on Billy Dee Williams (I feel like that’s after Ron Howard took over)
I like the cameos from some of the rogue one droids / creatures.
Also Warwick Davis unmasked is rad, since he’s been a creature of some sort in every film since ROTJ (its cool he finally gets his own face in a film)
Ummmm. What else without giving things away.
Oh, I didn’t like Lando’s droid L3, some people had told me that they LOVED L3, but I was not a fan really.
Also, I couldn’t stop thinking Woody Harrelson was Woody Harrelson, he’s too recognizable, so that was a bit of a distraction.
I liked the overall storyline, and thought it was done well.
To my knowledge Alden had signed up for THREE films, and I can see how they would probably stretch this in to a few more, but I wonder if that will still happen with the film not doing as well as expected
Oooo. ALSO: we lose something that has been in EVERY Star Wars film, and that makes me kinda sad - but I also expected it.

I’ll go see it again for sure, and maybe write a legit review after enough tome has passed - so I don’t feel like I’m giving spoilers, even though I don’t think anybody here would care anyway.

The Shape of Water. It was cute and weird at the same time. I thought she fell “in love” with the water man a little bit too soon, but that’s just my opinion. Or was it because she was a water girl herself that she felt connected? I’m not sure I understood that part right, but them “scars” on her neck were there in the beginning of the movie. Was he there to find her? 😫 I got a call and missed like 15 mins of it. Also I loved the egg love, haha. Love whatever the other cleaning lady told her husband “for years you’ve shut up, and NOW you’re talking”, when he had nothing to do with whatever was happening! BAM GIRL🔥 It was a good ending too 😊 Does Elisa remind anyone of Julia Roberts somehow, or is it just me?  |

It’s cute  Also I don’t know how to fix Netflix in my tv either😫😭 so I have popcorn time in my computer and if I connect it through hdmi cable in my tv, I have to get up to pause, cause usually I pause if someone calls but that makes the movie take 3-4 hours to watch instead of 2, so sometimes I just let it roll so that I have a good excuse not to talk that long hhahahah. However, I suck, but I’m okay and happy with laptop. It’s not the best but it works. |

Like at this show some girl had literally like a footstool she stood on at Pink's show. But before Pink came on the security (like main/head people) came up to me and ask if someone here had a footstool they stood on and I mean I said yeahhh as in look how cool it is. Like the girl put it together. Lmao. You know when I saw her gf's face going all mad that's when I realized ohw, that was security. Ops. And I kinda told her I'm sorry i'm kinda stupid sometimes, literally. She said it's fine, the douche security guy called them in so not my fault. But like, she was pissed. And I just thought it was so cool what she had bought. So it was probably something similar then on pp. me being in a happy mood and that's when things fuck up usually, haha. Uhhh. #life |

It was an older movie though, so probably not that much of a spoiler anyway. if you've seen 50 First Dates, you know that in that movie Drew Barrymore watches 6th Sense over and over again every night and the twist is always new to her and she always says "i can't believe Bruce Willis was a.....!!" So this movie spoiled 6th Sense for my best friend because she's never seen it before 😂 Just saying that no "old" movie is old enough to never be spoiled |
