Well ive read alot of the old books that were part of the canon befire Disney took over and threw all that stuff out the window. Id read the triology of Han Solo books that cover his early life and this film had almost zero in common with them so that was a bit of a let down. Having said that I knew tgat was goibg to be the case but Disneys destruction of the canon still annoys me. It was a good film , decent story and the acting was good enough I enjoyed it . Been to see it twice with my daughters and then again with my X Wing buddies so that ki da says it all. |

Just because you're so stubborn and lovely drnick  I watched I, Tonya and I thought it was alright. Alright, mostly because it made me sad for more reasons but also because it was very well done. I like the old vibe in the movie. I like her and her mom because they both want just to be the best they can, but if they'd both calm the fuck down and not take things too fucking seriously they would have had a more healthier relationship and life and she wouldn't be as fucked up as she was letting that dude behave like that towards her. On the other hand, her and her mom's relationship is probably also why she was as successful as she was. Ain't no time for being a kid and playing around, here's to wetting your pants and being an A+. I donno, but I could relate a lot to it somehow, in a different but similar way. I didn't see the movies you suggested. I fell asleep 20 minutes into the Game something movie. I'll watch it this weekend and get back with my opinion in here  |
