This might sound weird. But does it ever happen to you that you scratch where you have a tattoo and then you feel like your skin is “burning” for a while after? I’m not even talking about new tattoos. I mean the old ones. 🤔🤷♀️

Old ones? 😱
Mine are like... inside of the skin. I don’t feel them?

And after, the spots where i have tattoos feel like they burn for a little while. Like, maybe the skin remains more sensitive on those spots. I dnot know. Thats why im asking if its just me. This particular one that im talking about at the moment, i got it done 11 years ago. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️

My friend has this happen with one of her tattoos. You may be reacting to the ink, even though it’s an older tattoo. It could one of the particular pigments? I have tattoos that occasionally will be raised and have no idea as to why. I chalk it up to having sensitive skin🤷🏼♀️.

Ive never had it happen, but it kinda makes sense that these pigments have their chemical properties and behave how they behave separate to how your natural body does.

And especially with older tattoos, consider how much the tattooing industry has advanced in the past decade... I’m sure the chemicals aren’t exactly the most gentle, particularly in older inks. I could be talking out of my ass though on that.
