It's a complex discussion. And I get it's a tough thing to go through and live with. But it wouldn't exist if people took action. Hopefully this and the whole metoo movement will bring a change and won't just be a "hip thing that saw the light and then disappeared".

i think it's also important that the line between doing something because you really want to and doing something because you are MADE to think you really want it or MADE to think it is the only way is very thin. This is the exact thing I'm talking about. He walked around naked. He made them think "it's just 5 minutes, you don't need to do anything", "Everyone does that in this business", "I've slept with this and that and this and that person - look how far they come", etc. There will ALWAYS be people like him. EVERYWHERE. Not just in Hollywood. And I'm sure there are! Somewhere we have to decide, no matter what the environment is that we arrive to, no matter what is "normalized" there... AM I OK WITH IT. Do I sense it is wrong? If it is, why am I still here? You mentioned destructive relationships - I would say that's a whole other discussion, even if it's similar. This is where I feel most frustration, where the loss of respect for your own values are lost because you would pretty much sacrifice anything to get somewhere. I'm questioning that. And I will be open with what I think about it. I think that it is somewhat a choice, too. There was one example - one person that saw what was happening and wasn't OK with it so she quit. And she was loud about it too. If there were more women like her, standing up for themselves and their rights and not valuing their career or fame more, this guy wouldn't be able to do this for 30 years, maybe he'd get away with 1 year. i am not disagreeing with you or anything, just trying to think with the brain of a victim. It would be amazing if every women could and would come forward - but that is mostly society’s fault that they do not. Because we make them think they are bad, they are to blame. Sadly i haven’t seen this documentary but every single time something like this surfaces, the first thing that happens is the woman gets dragged, blamed, called a slut or a liar. Judicial procedures are also merciless. So i think that society needs to tell women that they matter, they are more than a piece of meat. Amd i guarantee you that the ones who think they have their careers thanks to this, they suffer too. I cannot imagine anyone feeling okay about what happened. And yes it would be great if they could all stand up and turn the narrative. But noone will be proud of having to suck a disgusting old dick for a job.

Discussion is good, shows that we care. And dont forget that there aren’t “perfect” opinons on topics like this and you can even change your mind about things and that’s good too. Am i makig sense? Maybe not. Blame sleep deprivation 😩😩😩

I've watched this video a million times over the years, Fiona speaking about her anxiety / anxiety attacks, and her thought process - and one of her methods for avoiding 'em. It always makes me laugh a little, just how cute she is explaining it, but she also has a good point, about talking to yourself when you feel 'em coming on.
