Jah. Sanki u. Always liked this song. Funnily enough it's one of the very few Rammstein songs I like, the others being Deutschland, and Du hast (live only, especially in the latest version they play since 2019 I believe, the studio/album version is meh). |

Funnily enough it's one of the very few Rammstein songs I like, the others being Deutschland, and Du hast (live only, especially in the latest version they play since 2019 I believe, the studio/album version is meh). Du Hast live is so much better. I agree. I think Ive seen Rammstein 6 times live, and I always love them. For a while, I was in a mode of trying to translate their song lyrics (just poorly through google translate) and even though I love their music, some of their lyrics when translated are kinda “meh”. (Or maybe its really that I translated so poorly that I dont understand what they are actually trying to say.) did the translating on one of Till’s poetry books as well. I agree w/ your song choices, as being some of the better ones, I’d also like to throw this one in the mix. I love Rammstein, but I also admit some of my love might be less if i understood every word. I like the sound and the emergy, and of course their live performances are amazing. i get why there are fans of bands where the listener doesn't understand a word. Some of my friends in American bands toured Japan - where lots of the fans wouldnt understand - but the fans still loved ‘em also, i think i have a good amount of Rammstein lyrics memorized even though i dont speak the language. 😅 |

Love this song too.
And the video is super rad, referencing so many past Rammstein videos.
Plus this is a great live song.
Usually with their keyboardist, Flake, going into the crowd.
So much fun.
This is one though where im a little 😑 with the lyrics.
Like i get it, and it sounds cool in German,
But imagining a band singing these words in english would be a little corny.
But still, its one of my favs.
