Hmmm. I’m trying hard to say something positive. I’m glad she gave us a video, but how thrown together was that. I might’ve preferred a tour video with beautiful upclose visuals of the live version. This video is not on the songs level, AT ALL.

Not necessarily my opinion but a thought that crossed my mind is the video's insinuation that being gay or bi should be secretive? I realise it's a light-hearted video but at a Rita Ora's Girls time in pop culture, I'm not sure it was the best direction. Nonetheless, the video is fun, she looks pretty and is lit well, but I'm not sure why you'd go with a poor-man's God Is A DJ concept when you have stunning tour choreo ready to be captured on film with beautiful cinematography... It makes me think that it was somewhat rushed.
Again, I'm still grateful and just hope it means she's saving her budget for a beautiful video later for I Am Here.

And I am sure she didn't think much about how people could interpret the video. She just wanted to have fun for an hour while someone pointed a camera at them and before she had to get back to read a good night story to her kids. |
