Ahead of a big weekend in music across Australia, Queensland is getting its fair share of the action with US superstar P!nk set to perform to over 200,000 Queenslanders with six electrifying shows over five weeks.
Kicking off the Queensland leg of the ‘Summer Carnival’ tour, P!nk will play to over 40,000 diehard fans at Suncorp stadium with a repeat performance slated for Saturday night.
The tour will then roll onto the Gold Coast’s Heritage Bank Stadium on Monday, make a grand return to Brisbane on March 19, before heading to Townsville’s Country Bank Stadium for two showstopping performances.
In a heartfelt revelation during her 60 Minutes Australia interview before touching down in Australia, P!nk expressed her deep affection for the country, hinting at a possible future down under.
“Last year I was thinking about applying for citizenship. I am not even joking,” she shared.
Amid her jam-packed schedule, the ‘So What’ singer and her motocross legend husband, Carey Hart, were seen soaking up the Gold Coast sun, cruising on Harley Davidsons along Old Burleigh Rd.
Dressed casually in a white singlet top and blue jeans, P!nk seemed to fully embrace the laid-back Queensland vibe ahead of her Friday night performance.
The family, including children Willow, 12, and Jameson, 7, are reportedly staying at the Langham Hotel in Surfers Paradise, making the most of their Queensland stay.
