How so, exactly? By doing a smaller tour, how does it show that Taylor won't have P!nk's longevity? Her Australian leg is shorter, yes, but her overall tour is much, much bigger. Shes hitting more cities, more countries, and oftentimes bigger venues than P!nk is. We are talking about her Australian tour here, and I don't believe that Taylor is going to be playing to more than 900,000 attendees across her 7 shows, which is the amount that P!nk is scheduled to play across her 17 shows. But do you seriously believe that it’s because she can’t? As the article says, Taylor’s tour is bigger and going to more places, she also doesn’t have as strong of a conduction with Australia. If she wanted to I’m sure she could sell more than a million tickets in Australia.

Taylor has committed to less shows and less time here, for whatever reason (logistical constraints, personal energy levels). It's all a choice, at the end of the day. Right? Meanwhile, P!nk has chosen to play more far-flung places in addition to more cities and shows, and she's been doing that in Australia since 2007. She's "here for the long haul", as the journalist asserts. It's a big part of the bond between her and the country.

Taylor's tour is undeniably bigger worldwide and I'm sure currently in Australia if she wanted it could be bigger than the Summer Carnival Tour. Don't forget that we still have Pink tickets for sale with less than 1 month to go until March 12, 2024 and March 13, 2024. Not to mention sales of albums and singles (which Taylor won't take long to surpass Pink) and streaming (it's been a while). So, yes, Taylor is in demand to put Pink on everything in Australia, as is the case in the rest of the world. Do I agree and accept this? No. But those are the facts. Pink has never had and is unlikely to have the public and media support that Taylor and Beyoncé have in the world. Does she care about that? Maybe not now, but who knows what it will be like in the future? Success isn't forever, and unfortunately we have Katy there to prove it. What really needs to happen as soon as possible is a change in Pink's career management. Because we have had more mistakes than successes and this will be disastrous in the long term.

You know, when I first read about long haul vs fling I was thinking of careers in total. But I think the article was focused on Australia. In that end, yes I think P!nk is more of a long haul and Taylor will continue to focus less on the country.
