That was a lengthy but worthwhile read. She's so dedicated and articulate, and I liked all of her music analogies when describing winemaking. This was my favourite quote:
"Being on stage is the most alive I’ve ever felt. And it’s the most authentic I’ve ever felt, because I don’t question anything. I’m not thinking, I’m feeling. And with wine, it’s Mother Nature doing that," Moore says. "When we’re here, I’m watching Mother Nature, and I get to be the audience."

I love when she talks about winemaking. You can tell how enthusiastic and involved she is.
On another note, she does not need this much retouching, especially in a magazine of the outdoors. Although I can somehow see how this unusual opportunity has come along, Outside being one of the better known sports and outdoors mag but her doing nothing with their topics, at least they could have give her a better time with the looks. As a follower of the Outside mag for years, her article and face looks way out of vibe, I wish they had matched it a tad bit better. She does not need major retouching, neither the mag requires it.

She probably supplied the clothes, her usual stuff she wears during her chores, which was probably the point. I’m confident I read somewhere Andrew did the photos too, so maybe that’s where the usual retouching came in. I think she looks great, I’m glad some of her laugh lines are still there.  |
