I'm nervous about something coming up.
and its kinda dumb, but still, I'm excited and nervous and stuff....
Amy Winehouse's family, now 10 years after her death, is deciding to get rid of a whole lot of her possessions.
an auction house in LA is handling it. and a BIG percentage of the sales goes to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, so its a charitable cause.
anyway - there's all sorts of stuff in the auction.
some of it makes sense, other stuff is just literally odds n ends from her place - for example, her Oyster card for the London transit.
Theres DVDs that she owned personally. So its like "hey, come by Amy Winehouse's used copy of SOUL PLANE on dvd"
but like, there's cooler stuff too - like famous outfits of hers
one of the top draw items is her black and green dress that she wore in Belgrade for her final show.
That is expected to sell for over $20,000
That item, personally, even if I had the money wouldn't want, just because of the negatives around that show in particular.
I'd want some of the happy memory pieces.
Theres a couple things that I picked out, stuff that rich people might not care about, so I'm hoping it can fly under the radar.
I have a plan A item set that I want (actually its being sold in separate pieces so I need to buy all the parts, but maybe I can do it, and should be wayyyyyyy less than the $20,000 dresses.)
But still even though I'm kinda hopeful, im still telling myself "some asshole millionaire is gonna buy all the stuff I want"

its a hardcover book and weighs over 3kg.
its huge and so many good photos and pieces of information.
