Summer Carnival Tour is becoming the 2nd highest grossing female tour this year, only behind Taylor Swift's Tour. P!nk is bigger than every female artist except Taylor. P!nk is the better artist though, Taylor just has a bigger PR team.

Beyonce's tour has gotten a LOT more media attention. Her album performed much better commercially as well. P!NK, despite all of her success, is sadly still flying under the radar. The things she has gone viral for recently is the whacky gifts, her comment on Xtina, and her comment on Scurvy from last week. It's not fair, but it's the situation.
Besides her, SZA, Doja Cat, and Nicki Minaj have been making headlines and been in the media a lot. They may not be on physically and economically bigger tours, but pop culture is definitely more around them than P!NK.

It's not fair, but it's the situation. Yes. Taylor is getting all the attention that P!nk deserves. Taylor is talented but she is nowhere near P!nk in terms of talent: performing, singing, performing skills. In terms of music, there is an artist called Carly Rae Jepsen who always releases better album than Taylor Swift, last year Carly released a better album on the same day as Taylor too, both albums have the same concept and Carly did it much better than Taylor. In short: Taylor is talented but very overrated. P!nk deserves Taylor's position.

I think that P!nk's own beliefs on this should prime. She's not into this popularity contest, why should we? haha I guess I'm a bit too old for stan culture. Now I'm just happy that she still enjoys herfself while giving us music and her heart in everything she does. Who cares if other people get more recognition.
People barely know sh** anyways. And being "better" is a very personal view, not objective at all. I agree, don't get me wrong, in my universe P!nk is the best because I relate to her in a very personal level and she's been an inspiration for me throughout my whole life, but different people have different tastes and I love that there are so many powerful women in music now.
To be honest, I've never listened to an album by Taylor or even seen an interview or a show about Taylor, so I can't really judge. That's what I hate people for doing: judging P!nk solely on her singles and a few clips of her in some interviews or her music videos, so I can't say I have an actual opinion about her.

This P!nk vs shit is annoying.
Be happy P!nk is alive and kicking and doing well. The rest is just noise and nonsense. Everyone can have their own lane.
Taylor has been KILLING it with every album release since her debut. Almost every album of hers has opened with 1 million+ sales, even when CDs were the norm. This is not new for Taylor; she’s always been a force.
But again, comparing artists, is a waste of time.
You can have the best PR team in the world and still flop. People just enjoy Taylor, deal with it. P!nk might have a big tour, but the GP hasn’t really been enjoying her music since TTAL. Numbers don’t lie.
P!nk also comes in to the scene, releases music, promote a little bit, tours it, and then disappears. She doesn’t play the whole artist game like Beyoncé, Taylor, Ariana, etc. Her pop career almost seems like her 3rd interest over her family, and wine; when it seems number one for artists like Beyoncé or Taylor.
She wanted to be a touring legacy act, and she got it ten fold. Not sure what we’re unhappy about? She’s happy she got what she wanted.

Interesting replies and I agree with the general sentiment.
Although, I do feel like P!nk needs a new team added on to her existing one, because most of the promotion the other artists get are not ones they generate, but more their teams and their understanding of pop culture in its current form.
I think her team did a stellar job when they made the conscious decision to reposition her brand in the music scene from a "pop girlie" to having legendary and iconic status, selling out stadiums and rising above the competition. You could sense the shift starting with Beautiful Trauma, when she started receiving contribution awards. I just wish the little gaps in between were filled with what is obviously lacking, to bring in new people into the fanbase and keep it growing.
The fact that P!nk is willing to fly to other territories to plug her album and appear on a shit ton of radio stations, tv shows, etc. but her team has not been able to set up a day where she signs albums in the comfort of her home to push sales on release week is beyond me. I've seen how artists do it, and while it is exhausting, it doesn't have to be a terrible chore. Different tables are set up with the booklets and once one is complete, she moves on to the next while the first is being packed and restocked. Before you tell me it's beneath her, major acts do this and it's the only way to rack up sales.
Cover variants and different formats also play a major factor in chart success. Like mrpink said above, Taylor opened with 1+ million sales. Yes, that is huge, but she also had 26 different versions of the album available for everyone worldwide with a huge marketing push. Some variants weren't announced initially not to shock consumers with a large number of options, but they kept revealing them over a period of 2-3 months to keep building on pre-order numbers. They created a culture of collectors who think "oohhh I gotta have this one too!" with each edition being announced, and finally a clock formation where you display all your editions in order to complete the facade. She and her team are marketing geniuses.
We are 4+ months into P!nk's tour now, but the merch on the official store is still not updated and they're losing $$$ because there is no consideration of setting up shipping points around the world for fans to order from. There is no merch specifically created that is related to each single, album, era, viral moment or even seasonality. She could be making a killing with those.
The official store still has merch from 2018. Let that sink in.
Playlisting on streaming is a huge factor in a song's success. They did a somewhat decent job with TRUSTFALL (single) when it first came out but did not think to do the same for Runaway, even when it became a single (I think? there was no push on radio or a music video created). Might I mention, Runaway is the only song to have a lyric video despite the fact that they know streaming is her downfall.
In recent years, I got into the Italian band Måneskin, their album did not have half the physical sales as P!nk but it has 1.2 billion track streams, thanks to playlisting. Trustfall (album) has 1/3 that number with 422m track streams.
Yes, she takes longer breaks between eras and rightfully so - she's paid her dues - but a lot of the missing links come down to the marketing behind her. It needs to be thought out and planned ahead and then be executed properly.

I must express she was selling 1+ million albums sales before she started doing different variants, it’s only since streaming took over and then the pandemic that she really started doing that.
P!nk likes her tour and promotional family close for her kids and safeness, I get it, but they’re not pushing her to try new things, imo anyway. Honestly, when I watch the new tour, I enjoy watching her but it feels stale.
