Would love to know where the money goes with these shows (or any concert for that matter). I assume for instance: Nationals Park, Washington: 42,734 (100%) - $7,139,587 The 7.1 million is total gate receipts. How much does the venue get (hundreds of people working the show that night, plus overhead). How much does the touring crew and band get, how much does the promoters, managers etc... get. I have to think that the money gets diluted really quickly.
I'll have to scour youtube, this stuff fascinates me.

I know about this stuff: - 1/3 went to the venue - 1/3 went to her label (songwriters and producers of the songs she sang) - 1/3 went to her and her crew (dancers, drivers, technicians) So she, as well as most artists, earn 15-20% of each date's gross.

That's awesome, thank you so much for the insight. I did watch a video on what it takes to do a standard rigging of the stage and lights at an arena show and was awestruck at the work that goes into it.

That's interesting. How do you know that? It seems a bit simplistic to me, and we can never know the deal she's struck with her promoter. Also, let's not forget that most music artist managers receive at least a 10% cut of everything the artist receives, so there's that to consider too.

I know that because I have a relative who works in the music industry. With the ''most music artist managers receive at least a 10% cut of everything the artist receives'' thing that you added, it's safe to say that the (almost) correct % that P!nk (and all artists who are signed to a major label) receives each show is 15%.
