This kind of rings a bell, what's this story about? Also, I agree with you on GIAD (aka God is a Dj  ) I think it had huge potential to be a hit. Try This just didn't click with the general public. I LOVED IT, I always had it on my portable cd player (lol). Actually yesterday Save My Life came on while I was at home singing some P!nk haha and I got a bit emotional, it took me back to those days. And now that we know about her problems with her label and the rights for M!ss, she probably was in a very dark place during TT and perhaps Save My Life is, indeed, about her at the time. She touched on it during the TT promo interviews... L.A. Reid felt that TT was missing a pop single and suggested that she go back into the studio to craft one. Due to this, she connected with Billy Mann for the first time, and the result was GIAD. By the way, I'm pretty sure SML is not a personal story but about Brody Dalle, Tim Armstrong's ex? Still, it's an incredible song and one that we know P!nk can relate to regardless. Thanks! I'm sure I read about both situations, but I couldn't recall the details. I wish I had all of my TT era interviews and specials, I haven't been able to find my external drive  And actually, about SML, I' ve only heard very vague info about it from her. I definitely hadn't heard that story, but maybe it is! And yeah, it's amazing and I'm sure that it resonates with her as well.  |
